No, it does not >> I just checked. Chunin Exam Day, however, does.
No, Time Braid did have a recommendation on FanficRecs.Naruto Peggy Sue Fics. I just deleted it.
Huh. That means it was readded to the Rec page and this occurred on the 5th of this month.
Strictly speaking, it shouldn't have been there to begin with as a violator of the "16+ only" rule.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenI think we might need to add a note barring the addition of Time Braid to the Recs page.
Because it -is- one of the most approved of Peggy Sue fanfics in the Naruto fandom, and as can clearly be shown, the majority of readers aren't looking at it as smutfic or pedo pandering >>
I mean, I was going to readd it back in May, but made a thread about it and got told to take it here, pretty much.

Added a note on the discussion page, but I'm not sure that it'll be of much use.
I'm not exactly confident enough in my ability to edit pages and have it turn out okay to add one to the main page =X
OK, I added it as a % comment in the page proper. It will only show up in the code when you go to edit it. There's no reason to have a "We don't want this" comment visible to everyone who passes by the recs page.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenHm, I can't help but feel that we're gonna have some rather peeved Naruto fans here scrreching like chimpanzees over our decision in the near future...
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I don't know how many of them are forum goers. The Naruto thread itself generally makes fun of fanfiction and finds Chunin Exam Day extremely terrible. Time Braid too, I think.
Nothing I can do about so there's no point in me screaming and yelling. Though I am really annoyed at the decision on Time Braid.
Unclouded TJ: Taking Bunny-Ears Lawyer too literally. This ain't the thread to complain about the decision. Take it elsewhere. It broke our content policies, and that's that.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenSo there's 19 things left on the list.
CaptainGerBear has 2 angel votes and The Cross Time Engineer has 2 devil votes.
Chunin Exam Day, Chunin Exam Day! =D
/me isn't gonna read that shit, you're welcome to though.
No thanks, I just ran out of brain bleach.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Just FYI: I will be taking tomorrow evening off since my sister will be back in the States for the first time in months and I haven't seen her.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenChunin Exam Day is less bad because it's a terrible horrible monstrosity and more bad because the author is very biased against certain things, quite vocal about it, and not actually all that good of a writer. He has decent ideas (Time Braid, for all it is wonderfully written, was written in response to Chunin Exam Day and used the same core concept), but the execution is appalling to me as a reader. Character bashing, forcing The Rival / Creator's Pet into eating shit (literally!), etc.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. At least the Ps noted it was well written(OK, I mean meeble) even though the weird sex stuff isn't policy safe.
@Nine: Neither is relevant; what matters is "is it porn" and "is it pedo-pandering?"
I despise hypocrisy, unless of course it is my own. It's relevant to me, as I could not move past the first chapter without wanting to gouge out my own eyes.
Never let it be said that I am not a sadistic soul who seeks to torment the P5.
(Admittedly, most of my reasoning is because I am going to feel very very vindicated when I get to cut Chunin Exam Day's rec)
Read through about 10 chapters of Chuunin Exam Day. It's almost entertaining how far out of his way the author goes to bash characters he doesn't like. Almost. As the fic has a Teen rating, there's not any explicit sexual content and as such, it meets our content guidelines. Angelhead.
Edit: Down to 16. Currently nothing with 2 votes in either direction.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenI read Chunin Exam Day from "cover to cover", so to speak, and I can give 100% assurances that there no explicit sex scenes at all; the furthest that it goes is reaching the point where they should start stripping down, and then skipping to either right afterwards or some considerable time afterwards. The one thing that I could think of that might be objectionable from a policy point is a single late-story scene where a mentally-broken and desperate Sakura submissively offers herself (in that way) to Naruto in return for getting in the Kistune Clan in some manner (No, he doesn't take her up on the sex part; he does, however, decide to get her in on the loops). It Makes Sense in Context, and the scene is played up for tragedic value.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Okay, is there anyone here who's familiar with Slave World? The page for the work series in question has me a little concerned over it acceptability here.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.
The fanfic rec standards are even tighter then 5p standards, so yes remove recs for fics removed for content violation.
Or at least thats how I understand it.
