Under a Blank White Sky: Interest Check and Signups

Except the closest thing to a Dwarf Rayek's ever met are Trolls, who personalitywise are Dwarves who Took a Level in Jerkass. Appearancewise they're kind of like Dwarves only uglier and green. Then there's Two Edge who's an elf-troll crossbreed. He actually looks luke a Dwarf and is a master smith but is crazy.

So yeah, it should be a whole new level of interesting.

I have some interest in this. However, I need to think up a character (probably Fandom- I'd like to see if I've gotten better at handling characters that aren't mine.)

Since I decided to start taking practicality pills, that wasn't a good idea after all.

• Name: Teana Lanster
• Species: Human Mage
• Age: 16
• Appearance: Bam.◊
• Powers/skills:
  • Device: Cross Mirage
  • Spell List; Starlight Breaker is not available here despite being on that list because A. There's a continuity hiccup involved if it is, and B. It's pretty damn overpowered.
• History: Orphaned at an early age, Tea was raised by her older brother until he was Killed in Action when she was ten. However, the circumstances surrounding that incident are what fuelled her later insecurities about her abilities; he was criticised by his superiors, who called him a failure and said that he should have apprehended the criminal even if it cost him his life. As a result, Tea was driven to prove that her family's magic wasn't worthless; although it could be said she pushed herself too hard to achieve this, to the point where it took getting blown up by her instructor during a training exercise to show her she was overdoing it.
• Personality: In a nutshell, she's a Type-A Tsundere. However, at the same time she's a level-headed and effective tactician when her peers aren't getting on her nerves, if a little eager, if not desperate to prove herself. She also has a habit of being blunt and has trouble opening up to people.

All looks good to me. Just keep in mind that she's not going to be able to cast Boosted Illusion and Sealing Shoot, since those need somebody else to boost them.

I forgot to ask when I applied, but how meta are we allowed to be? In Disgaea, the characters are aware of their titles, as well as the level system.    It's not that they know they're fictional, it's just that the stat cards for them are in-universe things, and they immediately know when their title has been changed (from "Demon Hunter" to "Badass Freakin Overlord", for example).   

That kind of meta 'is' played for laughs. The points where its used as physics can be glossed over (Mao taking that hero's title can be just him taking the hero's power literally.)

That's what I thought too, but I remembered that Etnas being dropped to level one actually was kinda plot important, despite being played for laughs. I just wanted to check with Screwloose, since it's his RP.

Okay, I was thinking of rejoining this but rather as a different character who was in an RP that died too young called Dragonblood, playing as my character Kyle Edwards some years after the RPs events with him being Older and Wiser.
