It happened to me as well. Not that it really matters to me, but still... thought you should know.
It happened to me again... does anyone know what's causing it?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIf they were in TRS, they may have been zapped by a bot.
I don't think so. The threads that were culled by the bot yesterday appeared in the Morgue, and I found them in the watchlist as "morgued".
Now, if the threads were zapped, that might explain it...
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNope, other areas. Manga/Anime, video games, and Yack Fest IIRC.
And it's not happening across the board for people with the thread in their watchlist. Take the Bleach manga thread for example. It passed a milestone yesterday night, a few pages after my last post in it, and I had no idea the thread was still moving yesterday until I wondered why I didn't hear anyone say anything about recent events in the manga.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI had an Image Pickin' thread (this one) and a TRS thread (this) disappear from my watchlist recently, even though the threads are still there.

somethingThe Team Fortress 2 dropped from my list, and I didn't even notice until days later when I was wondering why no one was talking about it.
Also unrelated, but my P Ms refused to be marked read anymore, so every page I get says I have one new message. A whole plethora of problems for me today.
For that issue, I've found you have to delete the trouble PM instead of re-reading it.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAnother thread disappeared for me. This time, Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Could we get some mod or admin input here?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyMods can't say anything on that, unfortunately. If it's a system issue, only Fast Eddie can do something about it. However, he really has his hands full.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerAh, gotcha.
Then The Legend Of Korra thread disappeared. I figure it doesn't hurt to call attention to it; hopefully it'll get fixed eventually.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI haven't noticed this issue lately. Has anyone else, or has it been resolved and we can close this up?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyPretty sure it's still happening. Not positive, as I haven't bothered to manually check recently, but my watchlist still sometimes drops in numbers.
Mine seems to go up and down unpredictably. I recently added one page to my watchlist, and when I checked, the count had gone up by four.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. Is anyone still having this problem? I think it happened to me last month. Maybe I accidentally clicked the "drop this thread" button. I feel it's too close to certain other more used buttons, especially on a phone.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy
Several times now, different threads, including some of my favorites, have been disappearing from my watchlist. Today, it happened shortly after I commented in one.
What is up with that?
