Spark9 moved the page, and I removed some references to the old trope name. Apparently we agreed to change the description, but that hasn't happened yet. 202 wicks need correcting.
OK, I did correct the wicks. Now I see we'll have to:
- Rewrite the description.
- Launch the YKTTWs discussed earlier.
- Consider whether to turn Gundamjack into a definition page.
Curious about the status on this one.
Consensus seems to be "rename Gundamjack to Grand Theft Prototype, rewrite description to be 'hijacking a unique, high-value prototype' and possibly YKTTW a generic 'hijacking' trope". I dunno what happened with the YKTTW, but the rename has happened and the rewrite hasn't yet.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. For Grand Theft Prototype, the current description, and moving on to the rest of the process (wick fixes, the new sister trope, index).
I already did all the wicks.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOK, I'll go bump the two YKTTW ([1], [2]). Looking over the description it seems it already satisfies the requirements of the thread, so I'll keep it as-is unless someone objects. I'll also see if I can YKTTW something about Gundamjack.

Vehicular Turnabout has been launched, crossreferenced and crosswicked. Apparently, Gundamjack doesn't really mean anything, so I will retract the suggestion to make something Fan Speak-y with it.
The Hijack Index YKTTW needs naming posts.

bumping for votes
More votes! We are at 6-1 right now for Our Index Has Been Hijacked.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSince voting seems to have stalled, should we just settle for the option with the most votes right now?
Let's wait a bit more.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWelp, ten days later and we've only made a little progress. I vote we just use the one with the most votes
huh, never mind, looks like we finally have a winner
