One of the creative leads also said though that he's interested in eventually doing some kind of prequel story about Tsubasa and Kanade, while a lot of the cast members have said they want to do a remake of season 1 so that they can do stuff like re-record their lines and songs (remember, they didn't start making a special recording of each song for each fight until G) and bring the visuals up to the quality of later seasons.
They can remake the original as a movie akin to the Nanoha movies, maybe add in some call forwards to the later seasons, which i think the nanoha movies did.

Watch SymphogearThat would be cool. Though also cool is the uptick in certain fan art as compared to previous seasons. Well, at least how quickly it's been done.
Avatar SourceYeah, I don't think they're likely to make a S6.
But I'd love to see a Prequel series, maybe even just a set of OV As focused on Kanade and Tsubasa. Or a S1 movie with a new song or two.
Although sadly a S1 movie would likely cut out a lot of the school life sections. And maybe the subplot about Hibiki cheating on Miku with Tsubasa.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobBy the way if you were disappointed with how Crunchyroll didn't subtitle the songs for the last episode, they ended up adding them in at some point.
Thats nice of them.
Watch SymphogearI mean, I completed my collection of other subs for the entire series, but nice that they went back and did it.
Doesn't forgive messing up the S1 tagline reference, though.
Avatar SourceI still want a translation for the lyrics of the final ED.
And hopefully the CD version of it adds even more characters.
Adding more characters would spoil it, though.
It's more than just Nijiro no Flugel + Miku, too; it's a completely new set of lyrics. I think the subs commie subs did have all of the songs, ED too.

Avatar SourceI wonder if Symphogear Live will be in 2021 instead of 2020. If they have anything for the 10th anniversery, i bet they'd want to announce it about a year later then they did with previous announcements.
Watch SymphogearThe CD version of Flugel added in Kanade, who wasn't in the TV version.
I just feel it would be nice to have at least one song that countains all of: Hibiki, Tsubasa, Chris, Maria, Kirika, Shirabe, Miku, Kanade, and Serena.
I don't, on account of two of them being dead, which seems a bit odd for a choice about a song in the future.
That, and Gyakko no Flugel originally played as an insert song in the first episode, so it was always a duet†. Nijiro no Flugel added Hibiki, Chris, and the FIS three to it. Kanade wasn't added after at any point.
† Specifically it was sung at the Zwei Wing concert, starting about five minutes into episode 1.

Avatar SourceNo, I mean Nijiiro no Flügel in particular. The version of it that played as the ending credits of G's final episode didn't include Kanade, but the CD version did.
They couldn't include her in the episode version due to the VA having scheduling conflicts.

International shipping is a pain, but I finally got something◊ ordered when the last episode broadcast. Couldn't pass it up after it turned out to be more than just a neat bit of promotional art.
Avatar SourceApparently there’s a puzzle piece version of that poster.
Watch SymphogearThat would be harder to put on my wall.
Avatar SourceThat's really cool!
I got something Symphogear related too this week, it's that unofficial manga volume posted on the subreddit a few weeks ago.
Was a little expensive shipping wise (about 60% of the cost was shipping) but insanely fast delivery.
Ordered it Tuesday and it made it halfway across the world in two days.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome Rob-wishes she had space to hang posters and wall scrolls-
"Yup. That tasted purple."-wishes he had money to buy posters and wall scrolls-
Yeah, the shipping cost and customs charges wound up being more than the base cost of the wall scroll in the end.
Thinking I should have gone with DHS shipping even if the cost was less predictable, I ordered that one the same day the last episode broadcast and there was so much dithering. This was supposed to be 10 days at most.

Avatar SourceI've been on a GARO kick recently, and I've been getting an idea in my head where Hibiki , as a fuck you to the rule that only Men become Makai nights, Forcibly takes the Armor of G Aro and fuses it with her relic and wears it through sheer willpower and hotblooded badassery.
...Now I want a Garo collab for XDU to happen.
Watch SymphogearGodzilla collab is happening for Symphogear XDU:
You know a series is successful when Symphogear collabs with fricken Godzilla of all things.
Edited by Demongodofchaos2 on Nov 3rd 2019 at 10:41:53 AM
Watch SymphogearNot only that, it was announced at a Godzilla focused event.
I know I am a little late, but I would pulido to express something.
The finale was beautiful and almost perfect.
ALMOST.
The one thing I did not like, and the thing that honestly hampers my ability to fully enjoy the finale?
The same thing many people praised- the Noble Red trio and Shem-Ha basically getting a last-minute redemption/Defeat Means Friendship and deciding to be understanding to humanity.
Hear me out- after all the shit they did throughout the season, they did not deserve redemption. I get that the message about humanity being able to thrive for itself, and it is a wonderful message, but Shem-Ha did not need to suddenly be accepting of humanity for that to happen. It could have just as easily ended with her undergoing a Villainous Breakdown by rejecting Hibiki and Miku's message (before disappearing anyway because the World Tree is destroyed), which still gets the point across by showing how weak and pathetic her anti-humanity stance is.
I just felt like it would be a nice subversion for the series to have a Big Bad who does not have any sympathetic backstory or redemption. (I also had high hopes for Shem-Ha being a female Complete Monster, since we haven't had one in a Magical Girl Warrior show since Ragyo Kiryuin and Ulith in 2013 and 2014, respectively, and was rather disappointed when Shem-Ha wouldn't keep. I want a Magical Girl Warrior series with a truly, 100% evil main villainess, dammit!)
So, Too Long: Didn't Read version; overall fantastic finale, but am I the only one that feels that the Noble Red girls and Shem-Ha were way too Easily Forgiven?

One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord.
That doesn't mean a Nanoha Strikers styled spinoff can't happen.
