She's still wearing panties and they're visible anyways, not seeing the issue.

Granny Panties. The response so far could easily kill the game's sales in Japan, they do not like censoring at all of anything and would rather the game just get a 18+ rating, like GTA or The Last of Us, instead if it came to that.
This quote has been making the rounds
Also very very bad president.

Because that quote is delicious.
Enjoy your granny panties lel
And Japanese otaku are vengeful as all get-out, just look at what happened to Tales of Zestiria.

Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realZestiria is still getting an anime and has a prequel in Berseria. The only victory they got was no more dlc featuring the waifu they wanted. So yay for them.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. What happened?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."An anime that was in the works long before the game came out and is changing things including new characters and hopefully removing the dumbass stuff.
And they got what they wanted, a female lead, Bamco had to announce the game like 2 months after Zesty as damage control even though they had just a character design and that was it.
The hyped up co-main character of the game turned out to be just a temporary character that was around for only a little while in addition to other characters outright bash her at times, the english script tones this down to almost nothing. She gets replaced by a character that everyone absolutely hated cause she was a spacey dumbass even for a RPG character.
The backlash was so insane that they had to do damage control for months to the point of offering free DLC instead of charging 15$ and announcing the next game when they had just a cut out of the main character and a CG of her on a ship.

I guess they wanted the actual female lead to be a surprise but their choice was not well-received then.
Whats so annoying about Rose exactly?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well she replaced the one character everyone loved is the big one and the fact that she is an uncaring idiot who is the absolute worst person to be around in any serious situation, heck she doesn't even bother to bury dead children she finds on the ground.

Yeesh
I also read she is some "pure-hearted assassin". What bullshit. Sounds like a stupid excuse to justify being an assassin.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Uh nothing they've shown has given the idea of changing things. In fact the initial trailers even showed there were plans for things to be different because of the Berseria and Zestiria connection, with the new character created specifically to tie the two together. That trailer came out before the backlash as well.
Basically if you can go around and murder people but remain "pure" you're a sociopath.
Or Symonne, who lives on Evil Cannot Comprehend Good which ironically makes her pure.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. There's also the deal where the Tales director pretty blatantly has a crush on Rose's voice actress, who at one point apologized in place of the director for the absolute shitstorm (which looks awful no matter how you look at it). There's also lots of evidence that Alisha (the "main girl" that got shafted) was meant to play a permanent role in the party until pretty late in development; for example, shops still sell her equipment way past the point where she leaves the party.
Zestiria's name is basically mud in Japan, I heard the games were selling in bargain bins a few months after release. It was a complete disaster. Japanese otaku are scary.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_of_Zestiria
According to Wikipedia it sold well...
EDIT: On a Star Ocean note, i was looking at the character designs for The Second Story's rerelease. i find them very generic compared to the PS 1 version even though they're the same characters.
Rena's is especially off-putting to me because her big moon pendant is hardly there, and she looks a lot younger than her older version.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Huh Rose really is a sociopath cause its just not natural to have a completely nonchalant attitude about killing people. There is something genuinely wrong with her. Other assassins are at least stated to be disturbed people who possess justifiable reactions ranging from simple lack of empathy to sadism. The fact she says she's pure-hearted thus completely good in taking a life just makes her more disturbing than most assassins.
How come the arts different?
edited 29th Mar '16 5:10:59 PM by slimcoder
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Don't know! I think the rerelease art looks generic since it's not as detailed or realistic.
Also, I totally missed out on a lot of the optional party members and only got Precis and Noel XD;

...Must. Pre-Order. Now...
Collector's Edition here I come!
And some chick got her panties switched for bloomers? That's a fair trade in my book.
Live your life.So early Japanese reviews are not that good hrm.
- Short story.
- There are not many areas to visit, everything seen on streams is pretty much that.
- No arena.
- Not a lot to do for endgame content.
- Lots of reused tracks from previous games.
- Optional dungeons are palette swaps.
- No alternative costumes.
- Relia is not actually playable

That last one isn't a spoiler, we've known about it from day one.
I have a question about Star Ocean 3. Does its plot twist imply that Star Ocean 1 and 2 were also MMORPGs or is that thing exclusive to 3?
edited 11th Apr '16 11:03:03 AM by lalalei2001
The Protomen enhanced my life.Umm nope, its the whole franchise. Even The Last Hope which not only has the enemies of the third game but also visits the locations and characters second game. The Last Hope did a good job bridging all the games together into one world.
But really I don't think it affects things much, it just explains away the game like mechanics in the game that do not really line up with Fridge Logic. Like how is a space alloy sword weaker in attack power than an iron one from a planet literally in the iron age and symbology and such. It is still a space RPG, just the world is well... Men In Black's ending is a good parallel.
Not really sure how to feel about this. Still this seems relatively minor it doesn't set a good precedent.
