Edited. Really sorry, Insano. It's only been a page, I have no excuse.
Sorry for not posting lately, I'll do so tonight.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialThere's a Skype chat! I have Skype! Just invite me in!
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.PM me info, please, Justa. I'll tear myself away from Skyrim for a moment to add you.
"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillI don't Skype either. You'll have to keep Psyga and I updated if anything important is established there :)
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Me and Paragon Rapped in the Skype, Billy Mays versus The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.
Billy Mays won.
Yeeeah.
I ship it....if I weren't such a good uni student, I would've gotten Skype already, just to find that chat log
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Someone save the log, because Skype doesn't want to work for me.

Hang on, was there somewhere in the papers or requirements that said that we had to be at this "Hotel Monasterio"? Because I saw two people at the same place, and I'm beginning to think that I missed something...
There will be that one day that my bad luck will come to an end. It won't come for about thirteen hundred years, though. No, no you haven't. Just about the only direction I gave is getting the characters to Peru. They came up with the hotels on their own. I'm rather impressed, though at the same time worried, at the amount of initiative going on here.
I really think as a GM I should really be getting involved more with this sort of thing. Do you guys think so, or have you been okay with the fairly lax approach so far?
I'm fine with it, though my posts are lazy.
Avatar SourceFor the most part, i'm fine with it how it is, because from experience i know it doesn't have many harmful effects when you watch over it.
Just in case, however, it might be best to give us an idea of what sort of things we can expect to find in Cusco, i.e. monasteries, varying types of stores, movie theatres, stuff like that. That way we have a general idea of what's plausible and can work from there as needed.
Really, as long as no locations created by players are extremely unlikely to be there or impossible, you shouldn't sweat the smaller details too much.
And as a note, Alan's heading towards the pillar of light now. He'll probably end up camping out somewhere near the entrance to Cusco from there, though, once he realizes he'll need to go through a jungle, so if you could give a description to that point, it would be much appreciated.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillThanks. Always good to hear a second opinion from an experienced GM, if you don't mind me saying.
I'll probably put up a post to say what's what in the city. As for the way to the temple, Insano helpfully pointed out the Urubamba Valley, and once a character crosses that, I'll really be grabbing hold of the reigns.
... C-U-S-C-O! CUSCO CUSCO! GO GO!

Oh well now you've just forced my hand.
{laughs so hard}
Speaking of fourth-wall breaking narrators, I'm probably gonna start narrating the rest of Terry's posts as a Lemony Narrator.
Hey, daltar. Margarita is in need of a backer, and Travis is in need of a guide. Perhaps she could be the as of yet unnamed person Travis was conversing with over the phone?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialOhh that certainly works with me.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.'Kay, so I'm probably gonna handwave Shulin as having already been in Peru doing a job or something. Gonna be interesting if she ever runs into Alex or Mike, seeing as the former's a serial killer and the latter is a murderer who escaped from prison and has since committed other crimes.
But yeah. . . Not sure who she'd run into and how they'd start chatting. Then again, she probably looks really out of place in Peru, so it's not far-fetched to presume she'd attract someone's attention.
“DAMMIT WHEN I HEAR 'SPACE CQC' ALL I CAN THINK OF IS BIG BOSS WITH A FISHBOWL ON HIS HEAD, STRANGLING AN ASTRONAUT OUTSIDE THE ISS."Yuki looks out of place everywhere... XD

Okay, there's your entrance into the city. If anybody, ANYBODY has had firsthand experience of this place, I IMPLORE you to help me. I can't draw from google maps forever!!
