Devastator should be self-evident, especially considering the traditions of the faction that owns it.
Anyway, does anyone know where Moerin's went? I haven't seen her post in a while.
Locking you up on radar since '09Moe? She's gone nowhere, she's probably just forgotten. >.>
And the Saint's Cradle isn't even it's name! It's a description.
Avatar Source^Huh, really? I genuinely thought that was its' name. But we should probably stop cluttering up the sign up thread, eh?

I'm baaaaaaackSo... is the Spirit of Reverence accepted?
I used Independence because on Nation States I played a carrier by that name before.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."As Flanker said, Liberty is pretty obvious... La Résistance, anyone?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundWell, I didn't name the Normandy, but I do know the naming conventions behind it.
Frigates are named after famous battles is human history (Such as the Normandy), Cruisers after Earth cities (the SSV Tokyo), Carriers after great people (the SSV Newton).
Notably, humans were the first (in the Mass Effect verse) to think of the idea with a Carrier. Zerg rushing enemy ships with fighters was completely foreign to the council races.
... Normandy? I don't recall any battle by that name. Normandy's a whole region of France. O_o
Avatar SourceThe Battle of Normandy. WW 2. Storming the Beaches.
Umm... that doesn't appear to be a battle. Rather, multiple battles.
Avatar SourceIt's Operation Overlord. D-Day. One of the single most important invasions in Human History.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Key word: invasion.
What these things are supposedly named after: battles.
Invasion =/= battle.
Simple enough, surely?
Avatar SourceIt's Americans. Kinder Surprise was recalled there because kids were swallowing the eggs whole.

My first thought was Meta-Knight with the Halberd but I'm not sure that its comparable to the others.
- Class: Gunship
- Ships Name: Halberd
- Unit type: Battleship
- Manufacturer: Pop Star (Likely location, specifics unknown)
- Operator: Meta Knights
- First deployment: 1996
- Dimensions: Approximately 300 meters in length, 15 meters height, 40 meters width
- Weight: Around 60000 tons
- Crew: Approximately 300-400 varying in species.
- Powerplant: Crystal Reactor coupled with dozens of wheelies.
- Fixed armaments:
- 1x Main Energy Cannon, Forward Mount
- 2x Secondary Energy Canons, Forward Mount
- 1x Combo Cannon, Rotating turret, Large Energy Cannon and Large Flak Cannon components with two Heavy Mechanical Arms
- 2x Heavy Mount 3 Gun Flak Turret
- 2x 3 Gun Flak Turrets
- 8x Point Defense 3 Gun Flak Turrets
- 20x Point Defense 2 Gun Flak Turrets
- 12x Point Defense 1 Gun Flak Cannons
- 20x Point Defense 3 Gun Small Flak Turrets
- Fighter Craft:
- 4x Heavy Lobster, Heavily Armored Land Robots with three rockets equipped with two flamethrowers and Miniature Lobsters. Usually attacks by ramming. Not suited for space combat.
- Details:
- Carries numerous Warp Stars for use as Escape Pods and transport.
- Greatest Firepower is straight forward of the craft.
- Numerous automatic defense systems lie within the ship and around key areas, most notably the Reactor Room that is fully capable of defending itself from intruders.
The Halberd is operated by an extensive and powerful crew of Dreamlanders varying widely in species. Of note, the dream landers are well equipped and much stronger and more agile than most ordinary humans. Most Dreamlanders are built such that most can easily survive in extreme conditions such as the vacuum of space.
Meta Knight himself is the strongest and Commander of the Halberd, able to take multiple blasts from his own laser cannons and live. His sword, the Galaxia Sword is a powerful weapon able to store energy and throw energy waves. The cape on his back, the Dimensional Cape, allows him to short distance teleport himself.

Why the hell not. Welcome aboard
-goes back to humming "Stealing the Enterprise"-
I find out more and more as I research the Halberd :P. Heres some I find from the anime.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gKs6naLi-E&feature=related
I'd also like to add that the Halberd has some hard shielding that envelops the ship a foot or two away from all surface area around the ship. However, the Halberd is unable to shoot through its own shielding.
Also, not that it matters too much, but the Halberd has Artificial Gravity throughout the ship :).
And I think that will finish up the Halberd's specs whether I find more or not.

- 40x Wheelies also provide Power alongside the Reactor and normally do not stray from that duty.
While I do want to play as a Terran or Shivan Ship, I need to have time to think...
I might play as a Confed ship or a Coalition ship, knowing that I have some knowledge with them.

"Yup. That tasted purple."This signup thread is closed. A new one for the new RPG will be up shortly.
Locking as requested.
I went with Ripley because of Ellen Ripley, the first person to warn the world of the Xenomorph threat, which the USCMC takes very seriously.
