The sign-ups.

So yeah, here we go. As you can see from the opening post, we start in Whiterun. Your characters are somewhere in that lovely mess of a market, whether in the Battered Mare, shopping, buying skooma(I'm looking at you, lizards), or whatever else you want to do. The Elder Scrolls game are a lot about freedom, so that's what we want to get across.

There is an overarching plot or four, but we're really about the freedom and the side quests, so while we will gently push you guys in the general direction of the plot, we'll also respond to stuff you do outside of the main "quest". This isn't do whatever you want, but its close.

Also, loving that new thread smell.

Ah, I love it when an RP comes together. Bohl's dismounted and arrived in Skyrim, so you can now feel fry to do your GM things and kill his mount. Just be kind when you do it, that poor animal carried him around for years, only to be so callously murdered for our little game.

Anyway, good luck and Godspeed with this thing.

Yeah, hoping Aoife gets approved so I can hop on in. She's basically just a glorified, financially-secure hobo. When she appears, she's going to be sitting in her tent in the Whiterun market, playing her flute to get attention, and then trying to sell shit, be it hides, leather, or stolen goods, to whomever's attention she grabs with the flute-playing. 'Cause that's how she rolls.

By the way, her bow is totally not stolen.

KSPAM, did you get official acceptance from either Daltar or rabbit Rider? Because all i said was I approved. I haven't heard from them on it.

Last time I checked, both of us approved.

Sorry. I just didn't want to get left behind in case we got off to speedy start. Anyway, just to clarify, by profoundly talented, I mean she does have access to Expert Level Conjuration spells, but they tax her greatly. Her Alteration and Enchanting are around Adept level, and aside from Apprentice/Novice level speech, her other skills are pretty much nonexistent.

Just let me know if there are any problems with this. Also, what do you think of Jeane's friend, Mr. Nibbles? XD

Okay, cool. Now to decide how I want to introduce Aoife, given the turn of events. I was planning on having her sitting and selling stuff, but I think maybe I'll have her be just entering the marketplace.

Elves picking a fight with a Nord? In the middle of a city of Nords? In the middle of a land populated mainly by Nords? Did I mention that Nords have a long, rich, history of violently dismembering elves?

Quick question for later. We all seem cool with Mr. Nibbles (which is less of a single zombie and more of a name Jeane gives to her zombies, even ones of the Dread variety), but I have to ask a question. I did specify that Jeane's Conjuration level is Expert, albeit new to the rank (shown by her relative difficulty casting such spells). Now, my question is this.

Is it okay to give her either the "Conjure Dremora Lord" or "Summon Unbound Dremora" spell? Either's fine with me (personally, I think Unbound is better through, to show the difficulty she has in performing the proper Expert level summoning), but I wanted to ask which, if either, I could use.

Watch it. Be in awe.

Does anyone mind if Aina's arrow kills one of the elves?

. . . Aoife does not want to be caught by Whiterun guards. She basically pulled off stealing a high-value item in another town for the guild, got lost fleeing, and eventually stumbled into Whiterun. And then she's eventually going to make her way to Riften.

As for why she has a bounty, well, she's Thieves Guild, and has stolen a fair amount of stuff. May have slipped out of jail once or twice, or simply evades capture. While not exactly low-key when not working, she's certainly a slippery young lady.

I'm not really sure I want Jeane to soultrap that dude (maybe just zombies), so I'll probably edit that come tomorrow morning. For now, I am way too tired to fix it.

Well looks like we'll all meet in the dungeons! :D

Well, not Aoife, at the very least! Seeing as she already has a bit of a criminal record, she had the sense to get out of there. She might try to steal something from Dragonsreach later or something, in which case she might consider picking the lock for them on the condition that they create a distraction.

I dunno. Amusing way to start the adventure. One thing I neglected to mention in her profile is that she aims to obtain daedric artifacts, mostly due to their rarity and value. So, alternatively, she might try to enlist help in that endeavor.

It's been brought to my attention that Jeane's soul-stealing shook things up in a rather undesirable way, at least with the G Ms, so I'd like to apologize for that. I was tired and wasn't really thinking. In any case, it won't happen again.

Also, bit of a minor note. The body didn't actually explode, I just got a bit too... intense with the description of the spell XD
