Anyway yes umm the image is completely in the caption...
Motion to Pull
Lets see what I can dig up.
Anyone remember what episode
- Miyako from Hidamari Sketch trying to spell "Love & Peace" on snow in Hidamari Sketch ends up being "Love & Piece" instead. Yes, this is intentional on the part of the mangaka.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Link is fixed. You have to use the page name ass it appears in the URL, not as it appears at the top of the page. In this case, it needed to be GratuitiousEnglish/AnimeAndManga not GratuitiousEnglish:AnimeAndManga
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Ahh ok, thank ya. I had tried it like that but it still did the sent to main page thing. (EDIT: I had tried it with "/" marks oops)
Bah I wish this was usable

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Sorry about the link. This is my first time posting on the forums, so I haven't gotten my bearings.

Don't worry about it. Namespaced pages can be hard to get the link right on.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Seconding the pull.
Thirding the pull.
The two other suggestions are all right. Rather have more suggestions though. AH MAH GAD would be perfect though.

Anyway, I could have sworn that the "I AM BOSS" image used to be on this trope, so I'm all for putting that back up. |
"OH MY GAH" would be great if it were text, but the video doesn't really work for illustrating this. Or if we want something else this picture◊ from Keroro Gunsou might work, although we'd probably not want to have profanity in the page image. |

Reaction Image Repository"Boss" is now used as an adjective in certain cases, so the "I AM BOSS" shirt is technically grammatically correct. The "What a shit?" from Baka Test looks good, but if we find something without profanity, I'd prefer it.

Really? I did not know that... that little tidbit should be put in the example on the page.
And it could be worse it could of been This...
Anyway seriously what episode is this Hidamari Sketch one from?

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!That's from Yotsuba To, isn't it? What chapter is it from?
Reaction Image RepositoryIts a Hentai called YOTSUBA&! - Erobata Fuka.
Anyway I am looking for on purpose examples because I really dont want to be bashing.
I wonder if I can find the raw to Honey Blonde. [1]◊ [2]◊ This panel the top two are completely untranslated and below is what they are really suppose to be saying. (the bottom bubble was actually translated which is a draw back)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Hard to see.
This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.Which is unfortunate, since otherwise it would be perfect.
I asked in the Hidamari Sketch thread if anyone remembers the ep or manga chapter and I will scan the thing real fast.
Lets see there is this... which is 100% untranslated.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!The last panel in the 3-panel one is good by itself.
Agreed, but at the same time with the 2nd panel it's completely clear as to what's going on. I'd be happy with either version.
I like the last 2 panels.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Last 2 panels are all that are really necessary.

Out of all the tens of thousands of examples of Gratuitous English in anime and manga, the one that tops the trope page is... "a orange." This picture is an absolute non-sequiter without the context provided by the caption, and even with it, it's a pretty lame example.
I bet the average troper has dozens of images saved that would be a better page image than this, so lay 'em on me.
