I've been meaning to bring this up, but Mirea seems to be very jealous of Rio.

One is the younger sister of the leader of the evil organization, the other is the daughter of the head of the hero association.

And Shooto will likely have to choose at some point.

In a random perverted note, I find Rio's panty shots to be real turn on. Usually I find them to be tasteless, but she actually makes it hot. I guess I have a weird taste. :/

At least they are not quite as BLATANT as most other examples of panty shots. Still hardly a turn-on, but at least slightly less insulting.

I wonder why no one has ever told her to wear bloomers under her skirt. Sakura style.

I think a biker shorts like Misaka would have been more practical.

About the character page: can we add future spoilers or not? Because if not, then what's the point?

I've seen it every now and then, usually on the trope pages for anime adapted from light novels. So I guess yeah go nuts with those spoilers.

Weird, the chapter's on fox but it's not on the scanlator's site.

You know, I was a little worried that Shooto's bitterness towards Ankaiser would make him believe all heroes were like that, so I'm glad he realized it was the opposite.

It's a good thing to see. I honestly think another series would have gone that route, or worse would have had Ankaiser be completely right.

I'm still bemused by the fact that I started the Ratman page, and was the only one updating it for ages...until it ceased being printed legally in the US, and then it got popular!

For some reason, Ankaiser still reminds me of Gilgamesh.

I wish that Shuuto learns to how to actually fight, instead of resorting to relying on raw power.

Well he's been doing this for a few weeks at best and he is trying to learn there was that danger room thing he did/does.

Archive Binge'd the scanlated chapters in a day. The manga's a lot better than I was expecting it to be. Action's good, humor's good, story sets up Grey-and-Grey Morality without beating you over the head with a shovel, and the art can be downright gorgeous when it wants to. I also can't shake the feeling that this manga inspired/was inspired by Tiger And Bunny. Can't tell which way though; manga's so obscure it doesn't even have a page on The Other Wiki.

The problems I have are related mainly to the scanlator group. The cleaning is pretty good, but 80% of the time the sound effects are done in the same style as the offhand comments, which makes it a little confusing. Also the translation fluctuates between "decent" and "borderline "Blind Idiot" Translation". Don't get me wrong, it's definitely good most of the time, but then you get shit like "Oh yes, I do recognize that show which my sister likes to watch a lot." and I can't help but wonder if the translator fell asleep that day. It's a shame too, because the scanlator for the first couple of chapters was excellent.

I'm fairly sure it started its release in 2007, but yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Ratman inspired T & B.
