I searched it up here and found nothing in conversations. I have taken the liberty of starting one! Anyways, WILLIS TRICKED YOU ALL! TAKE A LOOK! Wait don't yet, unless you're not caught up, spoilers ahoy.

oh, I was about to make a full Walkyverse! thread when I saw this thread. Anyways, after a fairly average summer's worth of strips (in both comics,) Shortpacked! and Dumbing of Age are both getting really good again.

I believe the phrase you're looking for is "Damn you, Willis!".

Panel four makes Amber more awesome than before.

This bizarre half-assed self-awareness on Robin's part is facinating, though I feel it only exists because according to Tumblr Willis's wife hates Robin.

I think the cast has evolved to the point where Robin is no longer nessisary to initiate plots, as the rest of the cast has gradually become screwed up enough in their own ways to fuck things up themselves. Not to mention we now have Roz around perminantly and Malaya. So maybe it is time for Robin to grow a little bit.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

I'm wondering how the hell Amber didn't kill her considering what happened on the previous strip.

[up] Maybe this is the same scene as the previous strip, and in the next strip, Robin turns around after talking to Ethan to see Amber still standing behind her in the same pose with the same death-glare?

Jesus seems to have a continually weirded out expression on his face. I guess it must be a pretty strange experience for him.

Really? He looks more pissed off to me. I think it's the eyebrows.

But yes, I think waking up 2000 years in the future after dying must be pretty damn strange.

Have to admit, that's pretty ballsy of Mike.

[up]Kinda presumptuous, though. Who says Mary'd be honest about it, or she'd even discuss her sex life with her son?

Sons talking about their mothers' sex lives is always a lose lose situation. Which means Mike was bound to bring it up sooner or later.

So...hate to necro this thread, but...well...please tell me there are some long-time fans around to ponder the sudden Continuity Cavalcade going on.

I have read it all, but the only Continuity Cavalcade I see for now is on the new print, not in the comic itself.

Two characters from Its Walky showing up in a row. Robin is planning something I think.

[up][up]Well, by "from the beginning" I meant from the Roomies!/It's Walky! days. Sal (in the motorcycle suit asking Ken if he works here) and Joe (bearded dude) have shown up in the past two days.

[up]I'm calling it. Surprise Mike/Amber wedding.

Meant so to, but I have to admit I answered before I saw Sal (I think I missed that strip and forgot to click "previous"). But IIRC Joe has been seen at various times during the course of Shortpacked!.

[up]Yep. Ultra-Car and Jacob's been to see him once, as has Robin. He's pretty much got Recurring Guest Star status at this point.

Given Sal, though, I don't think that's how we're supposed to take this.
