I see no functional difference except that yours is more fully explained. Unless you're going to use the strict definition of "adores" as "worships as a god" the line between "Likes bugs", "is fascinated by bugs", and "adores bugs" is going to be so fuzzy as to be useless.

I don't see a significant difference. I'd recommend you keep working on yours and either launch to Beetle Maniac and replace the description or fold Beetle Maniac into yours after launch. I'm not really picky.

Agree with Deboss. Beetle Maniac only has two sentences, one of which is pointless. Make a good version! :)

I have since modified the YKTTW's description to make clear that this is for adoring bugs in a Friend to All Living Things sense rather than mere fascination.

So, in this YKTTW of mine,
I was referred to Beetle Maniac. The description just says "a great curiosity and interest in beetles" but my YKTTW is about adoration of any bugs, and very specifically adoration rather than just curiosity and interest... as in, seeing bugs as endearing rather than just interesting. So, even if the trope is about bugs in general, I still think my YKTTW is distinct if only for that specific aspect. (Same for Bug Catching, which is more about catching bugs than about seeing them as pets.) What say you, TRS?
