Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm editing this OP and pinning it to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

Well never mind
Still swapping tools that require a lot of expertise to use isn’t generally the best idea
Forever liveblogging the Avengers> if they use doom, they will have him used magic?
Unlikely I think, but they'll probably focus on his ability to create technology to make him a foil Richard Reeds
New theme music also a boxLate response, but this didn't happen in the Ultimate Universe. It was in the Old Man Logan universe.

Nothing still beats the Rapecest of Ms Marvel in the 616

Wake me up at your own risk. That wasn’t Claremont. Claremont wrote the issue where she called everyone out on it.
Right, sorry, my bad, it was Perez, right?
Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianMy understanding is that the original planned resolution to Ms. Marvel's mysterious pregnancy arc ended up being very close to a What if? comic released just prior so they scrambled to come up with a different resolution in a very short amount of time and didn't really think things through.
Admittedly that's still not a very good excuse, but it is nonetheless how it happened.
> Late response, but this didn't happen in the Ultimate Universe. It was in the Old Man Logan universe.
So the Old Man Logan universe is even worse then Ultimate universe I take it
New theme music also a boxJim Shooter, George Pérez, Bob Layton, and David Michelinie all get writing credit for Avengers 200
None of them can claim to remember how it happened but Jim Shooter said that ultimately blame should fall to him because he was the EIC and the buck didn’t stop with him
Forever liveblogging the AvengersOld Man Logan, then, is essentially Logan's Unforgiven and it takes a lot from it. There are just several details where you have to just yell "What was Miller thinking?" Like the Hulk Gang — Miller could have simply gone with the Leader's children or the Abomination Gang or something like that, but nope, he had to make Bruce Banner go crazy from gamma radiation, rape his own cousin, and produce kids from that. It's so out of nowhere that you just kind of have to ignore it, because the rest of the story is better.
And then, of course, there's the ending to the story, which makes sense in regard to it being Unforgiven, but still hurts: Logan's wife and children were all killed by the Hulk Gang before the deadline just because they were bored. As I said: it's bleak, but it started out bleak, so the ending makes sense in that context. We just don't get to see Logan do any sort of, you know, mourning.

There are rumors that Marvel is looking for an "Alison Brie-type" for Jennifer Walters. So they should just totally get Alison Brie, right?
She can't play both roles!
One Strip! One Strip!She-Hulk is Angry Unikitty confirmed.
This whole thing reminds me of the story of Charlie Chaplin entering a Charlie Chaplin impersonation contest...and placing 3rd.
In fairness according Mary Pickford he wasn't in costume at the time.

Anyway, Brie herself is apparently busy as hell with Brooklyn 99 so she may not be able to take the role. Who do you call when Brie is busy?
Edited by Beatman1 on Feb 25th 2020 at 8:20:39 AM
Anna Kendrick
Interestingly, many people want a bodybuilder for the role.
They forgetting that when she is in human form, is of average constitution.
Do we know someone who can pull off a Clark Kent Outfit?
Wake me up at your own risk.Speaking of She-Hulk, I hope the character will be at least taller than Thor. (In Hulk form, obviously)
Many say that height shouldn't matter, but in characters like She-Hulk I think so.

In fact I am still disappointed to discover that a powerful dragon like Charizard is shorter than me.

Charizard isn't even a dragon type!
New theme music also a boxIt can be if you Mega Evolve it right.
