Cropped from the cover of Harry Turtledove's ''Guns Of The South:
General Lee with an AK-47
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
Always wanted to read that :'(
Only the first suggestion is really an example though.
Please. Those seem more like Anachronism Stew.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I was thinking of adding the caption:
Lies! Everyone knows they didn't have cameras in the Revolutionary War!
For added effect.
Ps: I know that's not the revolutionary war, just in case someone asks
Fight smart, not fair.Your suggestion, Deboss, is Anachronism Stew. This has to be a person, in or out of story, getting history wrong. So the foxed ones suggestion is out, because it is not an example as that is intentional, yours is out because... well maybe yours is in. I will let smarter people handle it.

Please.Make it vertical, so that Paul's speech bubbles are larger and easier to read and I think it would work well.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Yes. Much!
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.That's perfect.

Then, if others agree, any good caption suggestions?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid."No, that pretty much covers it, I think."
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Is the last panel really needed?
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyWithout it, it could be an alternate history.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.That plus Rule of Funny.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I'm good with Madrugada's caption.
Or "Can I see your old report cards?"
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid."One blast by land, two blasts by sea"
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things. That works as well.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Who's Paul Revere?
...I'm going to guess he's a figure from American history that people in the rest of the world haven't heard of. Does that count as Patriot Myopia?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Actually "Who's Paul Revere?" might be the best caption.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Well, to be honest, I don't like the image much. It doesn't make sense unless you know who Paul Revere is, and it really requires the speech balloon to point that out, and aside from that the girl in the bottom pic looks more like The Ditz than as somebody taking artistic license.
I mean, if we could find a picture of Abraham Lincoln with a machine gun, that'd be more appropriate, because at least he is visually recognizable (and, I'm willing to bet, a fair amount more famous than this Revere guy). \
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
It looks like it could just be some fantasy universe that happens to look like the 18th century instead of the 14th. How about splicing the middle left and last panel of this comic?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.
