I still think Kamen Rider vs Spider-Man is a really cool idea.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Cyborg009 says hi.
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterFrancoise ain't human.
But was the love interest in either case a boring purity maiden that's the real question.

Bleye knows Sabers.Well she climbed into bed with him half-naked & was feeling up his ripped physique without his asking after apparently saying goodbye. She basically went outside, waited for him to go to sleep, walked back in, strip down into her underwear, & laid in with him.
So I guess she’s not pure at the very least. She has a backbone at least from what I’ve seen.
They would have done it then too but Baki’s Dad showed up.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Baki would probably be put up against the guy from Kengan Ashura, probably.
Watch SymphogearBullshit. The whole point of Cyborg 009 is that the heroic cyborgs are all human despite their extensive augmentations turning them into superhumans.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Comics, we love ya, but you're strange.
I'm just listening to this conversation as an outsider to both GL and Ben 10. And this is definitely one of those moments where out-of-context, comics are just weird.
"Green Lantern achieved the status of White Lantern, granting him the ability to have all of the emotions." Achievement Unlocked: Normal healthy emotional range.
For a dude, that's actually an accomplishment.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Yay. Pointless discussions about anime sex.
I did realize that after I posted but since someone had been talking about Black Lantern powers I left it like that to clarify that Black isn’t included in White
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThank you for saying this because I kept on wondering how on earth "Zombie" counts as an emotion.
Zombie is just shorthand for that complex mix of regret reluctance disorientation and wooziness that is the just woke up mindset
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe biggest question is why "zombies" can only kill you if you're feeling one emotion. Two emotions is just too much, man.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThey are actually Revenants that target creatures who seep with emotion.
Noticiably they utterly ignored an emotionally dead Scarecrow.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think the worst/best part of that was when Firestorm's evil zombie twin listed all the emotions he was leeching off the guy as he struggled to break free from possession.
"The Justice League will stop you!"
"Ah. Hope. Delicious, and it's making me stronger."
Black lanterns are major assholes.
Bleye knows Sabers.I mean, yeah? They only want to extinguish all life in the universe. Thats kind of sn assholish thing to do.
I think it's them gloating about it that pushes them over the edge into assholish behavior. Otherwise, they would have just gobbled up their souls or whatever then went on their merry way.
It's been 3000 years…It should be noted that they act like sadistic assholes to get a rise out of people, thus generating more emotions.
Why else would they be zombified dead people, to cause great emotions in their family & friends.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."For fights involving MK characters, I sort of wonder if Zamasu vs Kronika works power scale-wise; thematically it seems like a good fit.
That's so lopsided against Kronika, it's almost like you hate her and want to see her suffer. But that would be folly because you can't draw suffering from someone who gets atomized in a nanosecond.
Yeah it's like evil I can handle. But you don't have to be rude while you're at it.
MK doesn't really do powerscaling the way anime fans see it. It'd probably fit DBX or somesuch better. Although Kronika's biggest time reversal powers specifically don't work on other gods so that probably cinches things in Zamasu's favor.

Bleye knows Sabers.Are immortals allowed?
Because Zamasu has immortality going on for him so...yeah.
Uni catWell look at who beat Kronika: a fusion. You know who else is a fusion? Zamasu.
Edited by JRads47 on May 9th 2019 at 11:04:36 AM
Starscream made it in. I guess Zamasu would too.
It's not like there aren't several characters in fictional history that couldn't circumvent that immortality somehow.
Although I'm reminded that I dislike the fact that it's Death Battle again. Incapacitating a target should be enough...
Bleye knows Sabers.I'd say Zamasu, because he's both more overtly powerful and Chronika's one advantage - temporal manipulation - is useless against him because he has a time ring that specifically protects him from temporal manipulation, and he ain't afraid to use it.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.
Funny thing but if Baki ever makes it in I hope they mention that Baki is like the only shonen protagonist ever to actually initiate sexual intercourse with his girlfriend out of both a sexual & romantic desire for a female human being.
Plus having an actual romance with dates, make-outs, & blush-worthy cheesy lines.
