When you say split, do you mean something like DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu.Video Games? If so, I support. It's got plenty of examples, and due to the nature of Boss Battles (especially Final Bosses) and the medium it's bound to get more in future.
Neutral to anime and comics. Does anyone know a shorter namespace for it? While it's okay as a trope title, I think that such length is a pain for a namespace.

Just PunchOutCthulhu/?
But yeah, this is long enough that I'd fully support a split by medium.
Yeah, unfortunate title, my bad... Erm, yeah, putting examples into subpages is what I want to do.
Namespace-ideas: PunchOutCthulhu.Video Games, PunchedOutCthulhu.Video Games, Punching Out Cthulhu.Videogames ...

The page is pretty big. Why not just do all the subpages?
Although if possible, we should find images for all the subpages. A lot of those look really bare, since they're pretty much just lists.
It shouldn't be too hard to find appropriate pics; this has enough examples to choose from, I think.
I don't think we need to split off all the folders. Film, Fanfiction, Music, Mythology, Pro Wrestling, Religon, Toys, and Webcomics all have less than Ten examples.
The problem is that the page ends up looking weird with some split off and some not. Maybe an Other page for all the small folders? And then if they get big enough, they can be split into their own page.
Other pages are a bad idea. They tend to end up a complete mess and they don't get split off. Don't worry if the page is really short. Just split by folder.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe only thing we still need to discuss is the namespace. I'd prefer PunchingOutCthulhu. Some Medium...
The traditional way to do it is NameOfTheTrope. Some Medium So this would be DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu. Some Medium

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickDidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu. Some Medium is a bit long. This works with short titles like Narm or Ear Worm, but not with, say, Big-Lipped Alligator Moment (BLAM.Some Medium) or The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy (H2G2.Book Title).
It doesn't really matter if it's long or not. It's not like people are going to be direct linking to the subpages.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickTrue. So, if noone stops me in the next few minutes, I'll create DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu.Sup Pages For Every Single Medium, okay?
Created the subpages. I'd love write a description for every single one myself - but my English sucks; this has to be done by someone else...
I'm not sure how much it really needs one as much as it needs an example cleanup. Isn't this trope supposed to be about someone who manages to defeat someone who is at least two levels higher on the Super Weight scale? How much of it is punching out Cthulu when you're a vampire that can doesn't obey the laws of time and Cthulu is basically a demon with more health than most enemies?
Yeap, its on both page's descriptions already.

Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackWell, that's just "typical" trope misuse; shouldn't be too hard to correct. I think Wiki Magic will be enough here - and I'm also keeping an eye on this page (yes, I like this trope )
We're pretty much done here, I think, so this should be locked.
EDIT: Oh, god, I forgot to press the holler-button - again.

The Video Games-Folder is quite large, it should get a separate page. What about the rest?
