They would probably need to bring Andrew Stanton back to voice Zurg and he's busy with the John Carter of Mars series that may happen if the first is a hit.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/How is that in name only? The movie is called Toy Story. All it has to have are a bunch of living toys.

Yeah, but most fans would expect a sequel to have at least Woody and Buzz.
I guess that makes sense, Toy Story was just the story of Andy and his toys, there could be some other group of toys there. Isn't that what the link said, a new trilogy?
Iunno, I'd just prefer if the brand was left untouched is all.
What. Come on now, Pixar. The third movie was the perfect ending to the series. Why would you add something on to a franchise that can die peacefully and be remembered fondly as it already is? Other than money, of course.

Don't you mean the third movie?
...
Ugh...
I honestly want to know what pixar will do with this... its gonna be interesting, regardless of the quality of the movie itself.
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death itself may die."What Toy Story 4 will be about.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimYes I meant third movie sorry. u_u;
^^I feel guilty for laughing at that.
And then Lotso comes back and throws everyone else in the incinerator, and the last half-hour of the film shows them dying horrifically while heartwrenching music plays.
You're not alone.
LOL

"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death itself may die."Yeah, I laughed.
Oh god, I just imagined him stuffing them in a bag in the middle of the night and chucking them in off the conveyor belt while saying "You wanna see some daylight?".
Ned Beatty is one good actor of villains.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/He played one of my favorite killers on CSI.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Sequels are not bad just because they're sequels. I see no reason why a Toy Story 4 couldn't turn out even better than Toy Story 3 if enough care and attention is put into it.
mudshark: I don't expect Nate to make sense, really. The price of Hawaiian shirts must have gone up
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpToy Story 4 will be a prequel to Wall-E. He'll befriend them, long after their humans are dead. Then they get set on fire or an alien takes them or something.
Where's the 'Thank' button?!
I think people are so severely against TS 4 because part of the goodness of TS 3 came from the fact its ending was... Not just an ending, but THE ending. It was the ultimate conclusion. I read somewhere that when he was making the film, Lee Unkrich visited his grandmother (or some other relative?) in a hospital and thought that it was probably the last time he would see her alive, and tried to convey that feeling with the last scenes of TS 3.
We said our goodbyes to the characters, cried our eyes dry, the childhood of my generation ended with the trilogy, and it closed with the clouds on the blue sky, like the first film opened.
It doesn't get more ending than that, and many of us will feel cheated if it isn't.

Oh no.
He better just be trolling us.
signature lineTom Hanks seems to be the only source we have for this rumor. I'll start to put more stock in it when we get some kind of confirmation from Pixar itself.
You know, you theorically could do a Toy Story 4 based on another group of toys living their own adventures, although that would be In Name Only.
Maybe we could see the Buzz and Zurg seen in Part 2 leading their heartwarming father-son antics?
