Fixed the trope link for you. Anyways, there is a difference. Legion of Doom says that they'll invariably undermine each other's goals through inability to trust each other, where as Evil Is One Big, Happy Family doesn't have that.

The definitions seem different enough. Looking at the examples, my impression is that they're mostly legit.
I think Legion of Doom might be subtrope—teaming up implies as a prerequisite that they're willing to work together for common goals. Thoughts?

In theory, this trope seems to be about how villains tend to get along even when it's illogical to do so, but in practice it's just Legion of Doom. Should we merge the two or just clarify the description?
