- Midlake - The Trials Of Van Occupanther
- Explosions In The Sky - The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place

I think that's a selection of albums that covers some, if not all, of the facets of my musical taste. Not necessarily my 5 favourite albums, but the five that cover the broadest range while still being awesome.
Listen to Music with Tropers at The Troper Turntable!Good to see Diamond Eyes getting some love. By far my favourite Deftones album.
- Dream Theater - Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence
- Dream Theater - Images And Words
- Dream Theater - Metropolis Part 2: Scenes From A Memory
- Dream Theater - Awake
- Dream Theater - Octavarium
Why yes, I am a little obsessed
Because I choose to.- Rush- Power Windows
- Depeche Mode- Playing the Angel
- Homestuck Vol 4
- Homestuck Vol 2
- Homestuck Vol 3
I'm the kind of person who listens to individual songs rather than entire albums, even though I try to do the latter.

If I'm going to only listen to five albums for the rest of my life, I'm going to have as much variety as possible.
They're off the streets now, and back on the road on the riot trail. http://www.last.fm/user/sca_punkHave One On Me really is a brilliant album. Didn't realise you were a Joanna Newsom fan!
Listen to Music with Tropers at The Troper Turntable!Oh, I'm pretty much a fan of anything (that's not Dream Theater)
I prefer Ys, personally, but I'd rather listen to Have One on Me for the rest of my life (because it has more songs and I'm not as familiar with it)
They're off the streets now, and back on the road on the riot trail. http://www.last.fm/user/sca_punk- Merzbow, Merzbox

Speaking seriously, I have no idea. Maybe the first two of those, actually; sounds like a good life endeavour...
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Sorry, but that's cheating, and I kind already just wanted you to list studio albums.

Who's Next/Quadrophenia/Tommy (Whichever of those three. Don't feel like choosing right now) - The Who.

- Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More (I find that album comforting)
- Relient K - 5 Score and 7 Years Ago
- Adele - 21

Okay, so that's gonna be hard because not a lot of my favorite albums are ones that wouldn't make me want to off myself (which is an important thing to consider when you're limiting your music selection for the rest of your life).
- Agalloch - The Mantle (it's depressing but beautiful)
- Autechre - Tri Repetae (just a perfect electronic album)
- Cynic - Focus (blows my mind every time I listen to it)
- Gorguts - Obscura (considered From Wisdom to Hate, but this one just lasts longer)
- Seefeel - Quique (not imperfect, but has some of the most beautiful ambient music I've ever heard)
which you they be?
Mine are:
1. Frank Sinatra - In the Small Hours
2. The Beatles - The White Album
3. Weezer - Pinkerton
4. Paul's Botique - Beastie Boys
5. Neon Bible - Arcade Fire
