So Quakemaster is weak to water? It's too bad nobody in the heroing party has access to any kind of water based magic, rather less two heroes having access to it (one from a summon and one stolen from an earlier boss). That would be a pretty big help.
Also, weird that the dialog is hinting that they care about each other's wellbeing, when earlier it was implied that obsidian is the victim of magical brainwashing.

Is this not the orignal Quakemaster, or was there originally a... ninth disaster master? Either way, I guess he might not be entirely weak to water, just weak to this water.

Mistmaster's design… wow. Those diamond eyes. The way he's curled in on himself. The way the rivulets of tears run from his eyes and over his knees, down like a waterfall, into that body of water.

My guess is that Mistmaster came so close to achieving "victory" for the evil side that NK was convinced that he would succeed if he had a couple more chances. So NK did... whatever this is to him, and blamed it on the heroes.
