• The rules on PC deaths have been moved over to the Tone Essay, since as they deal with tone, it was deemed more appropriate over there.

Since the List of Active Players on the wiki can be a bit nebulous due to people rarely making statements of hiatus or retirement when they leave, and at times large gaps between posting depending on time and morale, we were considering making it official that PCs can be moved over to the List of Retired PCs if a player has gone for more than a year without making a post in order to make the lists more accurate.

Happy anniversary, WAAPT. This is my contribution to the festivities(?): A folder full of art of a bunch of my characters, both PC and NPC. Hey everyone! I finally managed to finish Chapter 61 of PMD Reflecting Balance! Consider this my contribution to celebrating the tenth anniversery of WAAPT.

Centuries ago, in Ancient Ransei, the Ghost Lord of Spectra embarked on a war of conquest to bring all of the petty noble realms under his everlasting rule. Key to his victory was the sanctity of his inner chambers. Centuries later, the treasures of the Ghost Lord's sacred chambers were gradually acquired by Ranseioserie collectors from the 18th and 19th Centuries. A few of these were gathered together in the Galarian Museum's exhibit on the Era of the Ghost Lord. Legend tells that a specter haunts these halls, a member of the Ghost Lord's personal guard who is steadfast in his duties to protect the inner sanctums of Spectra Castle. Fortunately, the kinda glitchy Galarian Yamask has done no harm so far.

Truly nothing bad could happen, not even if a pair of supervillains carrying with them a cursed object empowered during April Fools Day walk in expecting that the amplified chaos could help them rob the museum of priceless artifacts.

The rundown:

• Beforehand, the Ghost Lord wing of the Galarian Museum is closed. James Clavis and his team of production designers are doing research on the artifacts of the Ghost Lord for his new musical.

• Malacostra and Salem attempt to rob the Galarian Museum. The robbery goes awry almost instantly when Malacostra and Salem bring the cursed energy amplifier built from the ores stolen from the Natural History Museum.

• The cursed energy, instead of causing a distraction for general mayhem, empowers the glitchy yamask.

• The glitch takes control of Dr. Clavis who he uses as a "human incarnation."

He of course is disoriented and thinks he's still a human in the Sengoku period protecting the Ghost Lord's Treasure Room. As his power grows, his delusions about his actual role grow along with it.

While the glitch has Salem's amplified trinket, he can brainwash various thralls (mostly Salem's and Malacostra's mon teams) into acting as his minions. It's up to the museum volunteers to destroy the energy amplifier and save Dr. Clavis.

The trainers must stop the Glitch Yamask while trying to avoid breaking anything in the Museum's Ghost Lord chambers. Besides Animeboy and I, there are up to five slots available for the taking. Newbies are welcome to join. People familiar with the Conquest Arc (and the Sengoku period) are welcome to advise me and Ian on specific things to keep it accurate to the storyline.

The Galarian Museum, of course, is based on the IRL British Museum in London.

CHANGE LOG: Most mentions of chamber pots have been removed to make the plot proposal more palatable. Setting has been changed to just "The Ghost Lord's inner chambers," which could mean the bedroom areas of Spectra Castle.

I confess, I'm tempted to see if I can get my character Susie into this. As a retired-Indiana Jones type it's right up her alley. But with only five slots and me still struggling to come out of hiatus I think I'll pass.
