So Tekken Bloodlines came out yesterday I think.
I only just watched it today, and only the first episode. Can't say too much yet without seeing more.
Except that, considering how things go later, Jin's going to forget a lot of the lessons his mom was trying to teach him.
Damn kids.
One Strip! One Strip! She picked the worst person to take Jin in, really.
Wake me up at your own risk.Yeah. That's always been strange.
One Strip! One Strip!Heihachi was probably just that convincing. Remember that after Tekken 2, once Heihachi reclaimed the Zaibatsu, he had a lot of philanthropic work done on poorer countries so Jun probably thought he could reliably look after Jin.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI guess whatever relationship she had with Kazuya never mentioned the cliff incident.
One Strip! One Strip!Bloodline really went out of his way to depict Kazuya as the bigger bastard, which is weird because i always assumed he was just deadset on killing his dad and then the power got to his head. It makes it harder to believe that Jun had a fling with him if he was this evil bastard...but i guess she does have a case of Poor Judge of Character.
Also, no mention of Kazumi. Guess they are gonna ignore that retcon and not elaborate on the devil gene
Uni catHow bad were the triangular shadows?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWatched episodes 2 and 3.
So they are acknowledging that Paul once gave Kazuya a fight. Also, lot of classic lore here.
It's funny how the first two games feel like they are the Soul Edge to the rest of the series' Soulcalibur.
They happened, and they are important, but it feel like the series really began with the third game.
One Strip! One Strip!Fair enough. It was a huge time skip after 2
Also wanderlust asked a question.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowOh.
I'm not sure. I didn't notice any triangular shadows.
There's probably a meta-joke I'm missing there, to be honest.
One Strip! One Strip!Since it's an adaptation, all discussions for Tekken: Bloodline should go here.
I'm not making a meta joke, I'm genuinely asking. In all the previews seen, there's this weird shadow on all the characters that basically looks like there's a giant pyramid between them and the sun.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyTekken 8 revealed at State of Play and man does it look good.
Ah yes more shirtless dudes punching each other with no definitive winner, glistening in the rain while some heavy J-rock plays in the background.
Will Jin stop Kazuya?
Will Kazuya threaten to murder Jin but keep him alive?
Will Heihachi return as a cyborg pet experiment?
Will the castrated story features of Tekken 7 return?
Will Nina and Anna be given more conservative clothing?
Will Katarina, Miguel, Serafino, or Chloe even appear?
The good thing at least is I didn't have to see Kazuya and Jin punching each other above the Bandai Namco logo for the umpteenth time.
And we didn't have to wait through 3 years of DLC seasons with character releases to get a sequel announcement.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).From fiery volcano to rainy mountain area, we somehow upgraded
So, biggest question: Are Devil Jin mains fucked? If they merge the two Jins does that mean we are down one mishima character?
Uni catMy biggest concerns are:
- Will Jun be playable?
- Will Katarina, Kunimitsu, and Julia be playable?
- Will non-Mishima stories be advanced?
(I assume Asuka will return)
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI think the answer is most likely no. Although it's weird because she is one of the main's characters that didn't come back to the main games series we don't even know what her status or even if she even knows what happens in Tekken 7.
P.S. Sorry for my bad English, English isn't my native language.
The only guaranteed characters are character's with unique playstyle or story related.
Jin, DVJ, Kazuya, Hwo, Paul, Jack-8, Bear, Alisa, King, Law, Nina, Xiao-yu, Bryan, Lee, Asuka, Lili
These characters are guaranteed.
Does that mean I don't get the job?Yeah, my mains get to stay. Then again it would be really dumb for Bamco to release a new installment of a fan favorite franchise and remove almost every fan favorite character, but when have they done that?
Fixed

Help me. I can't get it out of my head.
I know what you're trying to say, and that's why I think you may need a Sarcasm Mode pothole.
Some might not get it.
One Strip! One Strip!Tekken 4 is one of the best games and i will die on that hill.
Uni catHuh. Now that Heihachi's dead, I wonder if Panda will replace Kuma as the main bear. Doubt it, but Kuma's also the one that's already been replaced by Generation Xerox.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI'm just hoping Tekken 8 will have equal focus on the single player and multiplayer modes tbh. I want it to succeed where 7 failed in that regard.
And omega2900 of course I find Masaru in a fighting game thread Then again I feel like I should hang around the threads for games of this genre too with who my current avi is OK enough jokes about Live A Live avi gang Reiko. Stopping in 3, 2, 1, now.

FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeNot likely, but I could be surprised.
Most likely. Kazuya's always put more effort into trying to Heihachi than he did Jin.
Possibly, but it probably won't matter for story mode.
As long as they leave out that narrator.
Miguel is the most likely to return. The rest are a toss up.

I wonder if T8 means we'll see Goro Majima or Ichiban Kasuga as DLC.
Hopefully some more realistic fighting styles, too.
I was wrong on the previous page. The Definitive Edition does include all DLC, so right now and for the next 12 hours, someone could get the complete Tekken 7 on Steam for $17.60 USD.
