So the RP Signup thread is called Reunions (You Decide the Direction)! Hmm...

This is going to be interesting. Which directions could this RP go?

I'm going to work for a little Slasher-esque segment in there somewhere. Probably won't be a very long one, but I'd like to sneak that in once shit gets appropriately real. Apart from that? Intrigue and complex schemes is the way I'm hoping it'll be.

My character's power, being able to impersonate a person's appearence/voice/mannerisms, is useful in the intrigue aspect and the mystery aspect, and maybe even the romantic aspect. ;)

Whatever she's a pawn or a queen...I'm not sure yet.

By the way, if a character is discussing his/her secret, and it hasn't been revealed to the whole family, should we use spoiler tags?

Same.

Sort of pictured it playing out similiar to the Enigma manga. Abundance of mystery with lots of challenges to overcome along the way.

I'm thinking more like The Westing Game or Death Note, espeically the former, sans a will-Or Is It?

David's probably more of a Bishop, if one were to follow the chess metaphor. Not initially impressive, but once it has been going for a while, he's got some real potential to stir things up.

Could see it being like Death note, but in Enigma every character has a support power which ties in nicely with reunion.

Hey, it has been a hour. Why isn't the RP up yet? I have piano lessions at 4 PM Central Time, so I have a hour and a half to role-play before having to go.

It's up. also, its may or may not be like death note but I will say the conductors appearance is based on Watri's if you need help visualizing him.

I'm assuming Alexia is trying to contact the three boys? Felt I had to ask to be 100% sure.

By the way, I want clarification on Miles' power. Does he sense Character Alignment? In that case, my character would be somewhat Neutral, leaning slightly towards Good.

Did anybody else matched their character's power with any other aspect of their character? Alexia's power fits her secret, while Mile's power fit his occupation (he's a prosecutor).

It doesn't sense alignment... more... it senses if they're going to be helpful, or a hindrance. Someone could be Lawfull good, but in fact he would probably get a bad vibe from them because they wouldn't agree with his methods.

So, it's sort of like detecting alignments, but only if the alignment system was centered on him.

I think he'd get a good vibe from my character, but I'm not entirely sure.

I find P Ms to be kind of a hassle, so I'm posting the people I think Daniel has a mentionable relationship with. If there's any objection, post them or PM them, either way works for me.

Miles: Daniel is somewhat amused by his uptightness, and plans to teach him to relax and enjoy life, if that should prove to be possible. Doesn't really consider Miles an adult, mostly since he left home when his younger brother was very young, the fact that he's just 17 doesn't help matters in that regard.
Tashi: Same problem as with Miles, although he does take Tashi a smidge more seriously than Miles, for whatever reason.
Katie: Daniel just plain loves verbal sparring with her, and considers it one of his many goals in life to make sure she doesn't become too full of herself, without there being any ill intent, of course, sibling bickering at its most typical.
So, yeah, if anyone has an objection or feels left out, just lemme know and we can surely reach some sort of an agreement.

Speaking of singing, is it okay that Alexia can use only certain aspects of her power, like she can imitate a voice while not assuming an appearence, or even just imitate the mannerisms of someone as a joke?

Regarding Alexia being on character or off: I think it's a little hard to tell at this point, since we haven't seen that much of her yet. Going by her bio, though, one could interpret every once in a while trying to take control of an unwanted situation as a tomboyish action, so I'd say you're good.

She isn't a complete tomboy (she prefers dresses and fancy clothing), she developed vibes of it, but I think she may be the type of person to take control of a conversation, so...

I don't really know what type of person she is yet. What do you think would be her defining characteristics (for example, Kyon's would be Deadpan Snarker, Ordinary High-School Student, etc).
