Ah. Not discounting your own viewpoint, but I read it as a case of how community service can become an Unishment when people genuinely enjoy what they're doing.
It's coming out of a mouth of a character clearly portrayed as being wrong so I'll disagree with offense.

What're you guys talking about? They had sex, and then there was a baby. Sex makes babies, so therefore all of my education tells me that this is a grittily realistic depiction of unplanned parenthood.
