If Hohenheim of Light tried to revive Trisha? Wouldn't he just get forced over to Earth for that? Or at least he'd lose memory of everything.
Isn't that what happened when Alphonse used his Philosopher Stone body to revive Ed?
I dunno about Van Hohenheim though, maybe no consequence at all.

I don't think Hohenheim of Light had a Philosopher's Stone, at least by the time of the anime. I guess years back when Trisha first died he might have had one but I kinda doubt it. You need a rather large amount of Human Sacrifices for it and I don't think he was into that anymore.
Also why does everyone go No Yay about Dante x Ed? I've seen weirder ships and she looks pretty good in Lyra's body.
Lyra herself is hot but Dante!Lyra was also hot although I cannot say for the rest of her body.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."A 400 Year old wicked hag in a young girls body lusting over a 16 year old has massive squick factor.

And to ramp up the squick even more, Dante used to be Hohenheim's partner. The two even had a kid. His name was Envy.
Seriously, Dante's "I want to be loved by the son of Hohenheim" line is honestly one of the most disturbing things I've heard.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyHang on, how many episodes of the brotherhood anime are there? I'm not caught up yet but Netflix only has about 52 episodes available
The final 13 episodes of Brotherhood are, for some inexplicable reason, not available for streaming on Netflix. I know for a fact that Netflix does have the dvds for the entire show, as that is how I watched the final episodes. If that isn't an option for you, SOL.
IIRC, the last episode Netflix has for streaming is the one immediately before Mustang vs. Envy begins.

Maybe their hope is that people who only subscribe to Netflix streaming will get most of the way through Brotherhood, then subscribe to Netflix rentals as well just so they can finish it.
So I finally finished this series. Am I the only one who thinks the epilogue is a good set up for a sequel series?
I'd curious about seeing more styles of alchemy.
You may also recall my desire to see someone combine Homonculi research with Alchemy and Chimera research. There must still be people who have knowledge of the King Bradley project who slipped through the cracks, and I bet there are still al lot of Philosopher's stones that might not have been claimed.
Combine that with someone ruthless enough, you could cause some crazy shit.
Hell, through that in with The Xinglese and their ability to sense Chi, or their Alkahestry and you could get a Chimeric Ninja Homonculi Alchemist.
Tell me that wouldn't kick ass.
That being said, I doubt it would happen. It seems the story is done and done.
One Strip! One Strip! Is Milos supposed to be a Blood Crest?
Very much possible, in episode 35 Edward mentions there's been skirmish in Creta with Ametris. And at the end of the movie central soldiers we're sent there.
Huh. I didn't notice that.
One Strip! One Strip!Yep! That means The Sacred Star of Milos isn't as pointless as people think it is. It actually does contribute to the series main plot.
For those curious the line of dialogue happens around 14:30 in episode 35 The Shape of this Country.

Actually, according to the wiki, the ten blood crests are Riviere, Cameron, Fiske, Wellesley, South City, Ishval, Fotset, Pendleton, Reole, and Briggs. Also, what do you guys think about what Truth told Father?
edited 20th Jul '14 8:11:07 PM by Xopher001
Well I did say it was possible. But there is skirmish with Creta, knowing Father he probably instigated something
I'm not the only one who thought of LOTR when Julia swallowed the Sanguine Star was I?
I'm trying to find an in depth analysis about themes of theosophy and FMA. The wiki had some notes about some elements of theosophy in the concept of the Gate and Truth, but I haven't been able to find anything else
This is supposed to be Bradley's theme? The scene I associate it with has nothing at all to do with Bradley. This plays when everyone meets Father and Ed tells Scar that "the bearded bastard" is responsible for everything that happened in Ishbal. Scar has an epic rage moment when he flatout scares all the other Homunculi and kicks their ass while Father is just like "whatever".
I thought of it as more of Ling's theme. It also play in the awesome moment when Oliver cuts Raven down.
ATTENTION FMA FANS!!!
FMA 2003 will be having a High Definition Release in Japan. Set to release October 29, 2014. Here's a trailer:
You think Funimation will get it?

I certainly hope so.

So wait what happens if someone with a huge Philosopher Stone like Father or van hohenheim attempt Human Transmutation? Like, van hohenheim is the one who tries to revive Trisha?
