How about this combination of the Valkyrie Yuuki images on either side of the black-and white page?

I don't think we should have a pic of someone felling themselves up..

Isn't that the basic part of this trope?

Technically, you could just show the "checking self out" part and still fall squarely within the trope. I'm not sure that, uh, self-squeezing is even an absolutely necessary part of it.

It may not be, but it definitely gets the point across, plus it's more obvious in that pic that she's wearing a top than in the B/W original. I've changed my mind, I like that pic better.

realizing that she's just grown

On a tangential note, I've always thought that this trope should be applicable to when a girl gets excited by a sudden breast expansion as well as when a guy gets exited by a gender bender.

I guess I see the "excited by the change to their body" aspect of the trope to be more important that the "gender bender" aspect. In that context, the current picture works fine.

Also I don't like text-heavy trope images.

I don't think the Yuuki picture is text-heavy. I *do* think that the first panel alone (with the speech balloons) is enough. The line "What are these?" strongly implies that she's not normally a woman.

I like the Misfile pic slightly better, but I would be okay with the current pic.

I think Madrugada's image is best, but the Misfile example's pretty good too. Might be time for a crowner?

The crowner's held steady at this margin for a few days, so I think this is safe to call. The new pic is up, potholed, and tagged; I struck the old caption because it didn't fit the new pic and I didn't see a point for one. Locking up.
