That's why I mentioned her father being in the military. I wanted a decent explanation for where she's getting weapons from. And it isn't going to be like heavy armaments or anything. I was thinking more along the lines of a pistol and combat knife. At the most extreme she might show up with a shotgun, and even that's pretty unlikely. I was going for more "arms herself for self-defense once she gets involved" more than "decides to go Terminator on the witches". It's not like she's going to be toting a bazooka around or anything. And even then, I'm thinking she won't be hugely effective against witches themselves until she gets a contract anyway.

• Gender: Female
• Appearance: Around five foot seven, With pale purple hair and eyes to match. Her hair is constanly in a braid.She wears square glasses and has HUGE boobies. Like a C cup, and she's still growing.
• Personality: A quiet otaku who is constantly bullied, and is often seen playing video games on her laptop, watching anime, reading manga, etc. She has a girlfriend Very very close friend and is bullied almost constantly. Wants nothing more than to have friends who don't hate her. More or less a Shrinking Violet (Though this is Quite Justified) and Gets average grades. Occasionaly thinks of suicide. She is extremely averse to taking risks unless she knows everything about what would possibly happen, and even then is skeptical sometimes. She hates Hentai with a burning passion.

I'm fully aware of the illegality of guns in Japan, which is why the father works in the military. Part of the character (that I should have put in the original description and forgot to), was that as a result of living on military bases for most of her life, she has a slightly skewed idea of what's acceptable and what isn't. Not to a Raised by Wolves level, but she hasn't fully adjusted to mainstream life yet. Hence she isn't fully aware of the general attitude about gun control, and will probably be surprised when everybody else is shocked that she's packing heat. And in any case the Combat Pragmatist part of her personality will probably override social norms anyway.

A C-cup is a pretty decent size for a 12-year old, even if they look 15.

Gender: Male Can't we have him become a girl when transfroming, Promethea-style, regardless of the wish, and have him be a guy the rest of the time? This might be massive drama fodder: a full-on girl transformation might force a complete divorce with the background, which might mean a diminishing for drama opportunities.
Appearance: Overweight, but not to the point of obesity. Slight asthma. Moderately thick, but expensive glasses. Excessively formal dressing sense... when he doesn't dress like a complete slob, that is. Despite that, has a raher handsome face, with striking green eyes with long, curly eyelashes.
Personality: An idealist and a scientifist, Suoh-kun is a very emotional boy who neverhteless strongly believes in rationality, and the power of humanism. While he lacks empathy to an extent, he is very sympathetic to others' plights once he has noticed them, and is surprisingly insightful. He has something of a passion for science and academics, and is very politically minded. However, he is obsessively self-centered, and, in his constant, accusatory scrutinizing of himslef, lets the trees hide the forest. He cares very little for his own life, and is fiercely loyal to his friends. When he has a crush, it tends to be obsessive, and durable. He seems to be waiting for something to save him of his routine. He's in his final year at high-school, and wants to get the best marks to go to a good university... but if lives are on the line...

Hmmm. I'm not terribly familiar with the RP culture on this site, but seeing as I'm knee deep in this fandom anyway I might as well try to make my big break here. Just one thing: I'd really like to play a guy.

It could work: Mami demonstrated in ep 2 that mundane objects can be enchanted, so I won't be completely useless in a fight if worst comes to worst. But since QB probably doesn't give a crap about guys, I'm going to need to play a Satellite Character to a girl in a friend/acquaintance/love interest -capacity; preferrably another troper's one, since if I could come up with a good female character I'd be RPing as her to begin with it. Any volunteers?

@_@; I've never RP'd before, either. Writing a character profile like this feels different from what I usually do with my original fiction. I hope it seems okay. Also, finding a unisex given name that's also used as a surname was challenging. Maybe it was just the list of first names I was working with, but Tsubasa was the only one I could find.

• Name: Kotono Tsubasa
• Age: 16

Before the transformation:

• Gender: Physically male, identifies as female.
• Appearance: Tsubasa has short, light brown hair that isn't too short for a girl but not too long for a boy, either. She is of average male height, but tends to walk around in a bit crouched posture. She tries her best to avoid getting tanned, so her skin is quite pale. Her eyes are dark brown. Tsubasa loathes boys' clothes so she tries to wear as neutral clothing as possible.
• Personality: Trying to ignore the uncomfortable physical world, Tsubasa seems rather absent-minded, even dreamy and forgetful. She thinks a lot, but keeps most of her pondering to herself, so her trail of thought seems quite... special. Tsubasa would like to chat with people, but detests her clearly masculine voice, so she keeps quiet a lot. She has a vivid imagination.
• Background: She moved to Imaizumi only recently with her parents and 10-year-old little brother. They used to live in the countryside, so Tsubasa is adjusting to the different feel of life in general. She finds the bustle of the city a bit intimidating, but also comfortingly easy to disappear into.

After the transformation:

• Gender: Female
• Appearance: Tsubasa looks almost the same as she used to be. Her facial features are a bit softer than before, and while her height (175 cm/5'8'') hasn't changed, she is now a very tall girl instead of being an average boy. She likes wearing all kinds of clothes, preferably of bright colours, and hair pins.
• Personality: Now longer bound by her voice, Tsubasa likes to chat with people. Unfortunately, she lacks proper experience from social situations outside of a certain perspective, so she can seem a bit odd. She tries to speak like a normal girl, but sometimes boyish expressions slip into her speech.

Magical girl info:

• Wish: ”Turn me into a real girl!”
• Wish derivered special ability: Illusion magic. Tsubasa can create visions of things that don't really exist, and cover things that do. They are, however, merely audiovisual and can't fool anyone touching them. Tsubasa's specialization is changing her own visibility: this means she can fade in and out of sight at will.
• Weapon: Halberd of 180 cm (5'11''). Unspammable and somewhat heavy, but has a good reach and can be used to both stab and slash.
• Magical girl outfit: Looks like this.◊

Ardiente: I don't know why I'm spoiling but... No, if he's a male he must become a girl with his wish to become a MS. Maybe that's not something he wishes but a requirement for having the power of a MS is being a girl. Still, as a side effect of his wish maybe he can get some slight illusion magic to make everyone else think he's still male... but he'll see his body as female. If he gets too desperate maybe he kill a guy and steal his body... though I don't know how that would work

• Appearance: A bit taller than average, and moderately endowed. Her hair is white, cut very short, and is somewhat scruffy. Her eyes are blue and very sharp-looking.
• Personality: Yukino is a dyed-in-the-wool analyst. She coldly observes every angle before acting, and has refined this to near perfection. She doesn't like becoming friendly with people unless they demonstrate that they are at least competent, and even then she sends friendly jabs at them regularly.

• Wish: That her little sister's sickle cell anemia would be cured.
• Wish derived special ability: Standard quickened regeneration, in addition to this, she can use her blood to trace foundations for barriers.
• Magical Girl Costume: A long, thin light blue dress, with a slit down the right leg so she can move easily. Over that she wears a short white leather jacket with black fur trim.
• Other: Yukino prefers to stay at something of a distance for safety reasons, but if necessary, she will move to close range, where her true skill lies. She uses ice magic as well.

As for Yukino, approved, though since it's a healing wish I think the regeneration would be more appropriate. The barrier could be a subset of her magic.
