General Sonic The Hedgehog thread

If there ever was an adult Tails, with green fur and an extra tail, that'd be my Sonic sona.

I feel like this is hinting at a Rouge appearance in the Knuckles series, but maybe that's just me.

I've rarely actually wanted Funko Pops, but I kind of want these.

It helps that Sonic characters already have big heads, so a Funko Pop doesn't look TOO off from normal design. (Which I normally find off putting about them, as well as an often same-y-ness)

I wasn't a big fan of the eyes on their Sonic characters, but it looks like they've gotten better with time. Knuckles looks cool here with the pose, and Rouge looks great.

Knuckles is kind of staring into my soul, but loads of Funko Pops do that.

with all due respect I feel that's most likely just wishful thinking in your part.

I'm kinda of a fan of funkos, mainly for how cheap they're compared to other collectable figures.

In hindsight, Shadow with a gun was a pretty stupid idea.

Isn't that obvious?

I’m planning to get the PS4 version of Sonic x Shadow Generations.

Eh. I think the feeling on "Shadow with a gun" has mostly swung over to So Bad, Its Good in hindsight.

I'd be more impressed by Shadow with a gun if they'd let him keep the gun afterward. And the motorcycle.

Commit to the bit, Sega. Next time we see Shadow, I want him to have a trenchcoat full of uzis.

I think a gun-wielding Shadow could work... but instead of realistic firearms, he has stylized weapons fitting his aesthetic. Like energy rifles, or something resembling Atlas' arsenal in Borderlands 3, specifically their launchers and pistols.

I mean, we laugh at Shadow with a gun, but don't pretend the chance is 0% of Sonic ever doing a collaboration with Fortnite.

Okay, I FINALLY got past the pinball machine in Sonic Frontiers; as it turns out, there's an Anti-Frustration Feature where if you lose several times in a row, the game starts with several arrows in the side and middle holes, which can save the ball once per side and three times in the middle. I only had to use the left side (which, incidentally, was where I kept losing the ball), and with patience (and shaky nerves), I managed to hit the 5 million point mark. Now I can only pray I get the other trophies before I beat the game, because I can NOT go through this garbage again. Game devs, take notes: just because you love pinball doesn't mean you should force it on your audience as part of the main path!

Oh. Hm. Here's hoping you like Ikaruga as much as the devs did, then.

What difficulty are you on, by the by?

Easy. Why?

Playing on Hard mode changes some stuff with the final boss. I'll be vague about what, but know that you can switch the difficulty at any time to see it.

It's fine, I already saw the ending when it first came out. Same for the DLC.

Vector and Charmy as a duo is such a clever idea

Come to think... much as Infinite's a crap character narratively, he'd probably make a pretty good fighting game character with his illusion and construct creating gimmick.

But a first look at the Sonic-Based Fall Guys game for Apple Arcade got leaked!

• This is more likely a beta to drum up a proof-of-concept because of a lot of elements like that logo. (yeah yeah, we all know where it's from.)
• We got Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Eggman, Metal Sonic, Amy, Rouge, and someone was able to spot Vector for like a second.
• It does look very much like Fall Guys if it was more Sonic-like.
