SERENA-MANEESH WERE ABLE TO RECORD THIS
IN A CAVE
WITH A BOX OF INSTRUMENTS
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!I would like to point out that Melt Banana's Cell-Scape is the best album I've listened to in a long, long time.
We must move forward, not backward. Upward, not forward. And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom.I'd love to listen to noise, but I am afraid my ears cannot stand it physically to make audible on a level of strength that would actually be required for it to be Noise. There is not silent noise, after all.
'It's gonna rain!'Recently listening to Prurient's The Black Vase and Kites' Hallucination Guillotine. It's interesting how little credit is given to noise when it comes to subtlety, but these two projects, in particular, use small dynamic and textural shifts with surprising grace and a terrifying efficiency.

I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Who here agrees with me that KK Null > Merzbow?
Merzbow can easily perform Ear Rape at any volume.

The 5 geek social fallacies. Know them well.I am less familiar with KK Null than I would like to be, but I can say that his work is quite intriguing.
On a completely different note, let's all have a great big delicious bowl of Total!
Hell yeah!
So far I'd have to say Yellow Swans' Going Places might just be my favourite noise album I've heard yet but I've got a lot of digging to do. Merzbow, Prurient, Sightings, Whitehouse, Kevin Drumm, The Gerogerigegege: there's a whole wide world of discographies out there to get stuck into.
Downloaded Hanatarash's 2: Maw yesterday. Classic stuff.
yeah man lowercaseFor the longest time I've only really been familiar with major acts like Merzbow (who is awesome) and Whitehouse (who I have mixed feelings about). JHM introduced me to Prurient though, who is also cool, and I'm planning to check out Wolf Eyes at some point.
Because I choose to.I laughed when I discovered that there was actually a genre of music called 'noise'.
Anyway, I'm not a fan. The most "noisy" thing I can stand is the Velvet Underground's second album.
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...I like what Merzbow once said:
"If by 'noise' you mean an unpleasant sound, then pop music is noise to me."
Somehow you know that the time is right. That quote pretty much sums up my feelings about a lot of mainstream music. To know it has been uttered by Merzbow somehow makes me even more happy.
Speaking of noise artists, anyone familiar with Masonna ? I've heard a couple of amazing thingies from him but other than that I don't know much about the guy, apart from the fact that he seems to have crazy live appearences : you thought Jimmy Hendrix setting his guitar on fire was extreme ? Get a hold of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJoIWgkdeHw
You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.Yes, I know of Masonna, though I have heard very little of his work.
That video, however, is classic.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.yellow sawns are very good. i like the haters my fav is death defying sickness.
