-Appearing rather shocked-

<Moogle: "Come on, let's do this, kupo!">

<Regulator!Volcarona: "Ku- AUGH!">

-And is hit by a 2x Acrobatics combo-

<Regulator!Volcarona: @_@ "Medic!">

<Moogle: "YEOW! That burned!">

<(?): "Mrrgh... Mhh mhh mhh...">

-And (?) begins to glow-

<Moogle: "Ah!">

-And the glow is replaced by the form of an Archeops-

<(?): "... It's about time...">

-To the dazed fire moth-

<(?): "When I send my armies through to purge your horrid land, I'll make sure that they have something especially entertaining for the lot of you metal heads!">

<Bohr: "Oh great, he can talk again.">

<Regulator!Rhydon: "Well that was totally useless, Mr. 'Power of the Sun'- GET THEM!">

-Running out of ammo, fumbling for a clip to replace the almost depleted one on the rifle-

Vault Dweller: "Rrgh! Seriously?! Why can't they all be easy to down like that Macham-?!"

-Is jabbed hard with a non-trivially sharp bit by a certain Bisharp-

Vault Dweller: "Ack!"

<Caleb: "You apes really have some horrible reflexes, you know that?">

-And stabs the Vault Dweller's trigger arm, wrenching the assault rifle out of his hands and hurling it into a wall-

<Caleb: "And you're nothing without those guns of yours.">

-Raising blades-

<Caleb: "I think I'll take you apart, fleshbag... Slowly...">

<Tagg: "Hey, asshole! Watch your head!">

-And uses Hammer Arm on the Bisharp... Sending him flying into a wall... And tumbling facefirst onto the business end of the Vault Dweller's loose assault rifle-

-And some hemolymph sprays against the wall with chunks of chitin, which momentarily stuns the entire room into silent inaction-

<Maurice: "... Geez." ._.>

Vault Dweller: "Er... I guess we're even for those raiders?" ._.

<Tagg: "... Yeah... Let's go with that.">

<(?): "... Glad these aren't my quarters...">

Marceline nods. She walks over to Lily. "Hey, um Lily... Would you... um..."

She looks over at Diane with a panicked look on her face.

Lily: <???>

Delaying finding Umbra.

Yeah, I know him. And, before we go any further in this conversation, introductions. I'm Dr Lewis Smith.

-Extends hand for handshake-

-Deep in the pond, unseen by anyone on the surfcae, is a Clefable-

She wraps Lily up in a big hug, and gives her a kiss where her mouth would be. After a moment that seemed like an eternity to her, she puts her down and bows her head. "Now, if you don't like me, tell me now, please. I'll never bother you about it again. But please, I have to know."

Lily: <... Marceline... I know I said that I don't love you that way, and, well... it's still true. But... your more like a sister, one I never had. For a long time... I didn't even HAVE a family. My mother disappeared, my dad's a Zoroark, and I was an only child. But I found new family. A brother in Trip, a father in Kyle, a babysitter in Psyche, and of course... -would smile- you!>

And then she gives her a pseudo-kiss on the cheek.

-The sounds of scuffles breaking out outside can be heard-

<Bottles: "It's kinda hard to come up with something that'll stick on an armored land shark, though..." :/>

-And a crash can be heard-

-Turning around to see a group of better-armed Blades being led by a Salamence and a Flygon with a hasty patch over its neck carapace-

-And is cut off by being Dragon Clawed into a wall-

-Emerging fainted from a similarly unconscious armored Garchomp-

Marceline sighs and smiles. "Yeah, I know. Still a tad irksome."

She sighs.

<You know, now I wonder how my dad was. Not the imposter, I mean my actual call-the-baby-Swanna dad. Was he nice? The Zoroark was nice, though I can't tell whether it was genuine. My mother, when I saw her was, well...>
