Being a narrator appears to increase your stamina, cause apparently I'm still fine.

Narrator: Well, we do need to keep tabs on the trainer we're paired with. It's only natural we have bodies that can endure any type of environment.

"That's conven-Ooh, Casteliacones~"

Narrator: Wally dives head-first into the crowd in front of the stand, coming out with 3 cones.

Casval: "Wow. I could never get any of those without it being a Tuesday..."

Artesia: "On our last visit, we wasted an entire afternoon to get them..."

- Wakes up -

Treasure Town

-Has entered from another entrance-

You know, it's a wonder that we managed to end up in the correct area and not over a spike trap or something.

Ana: -Looking around- <There really is nothing but mons here, I wonder why that is.>

Well, this Weavile we met said that there was some sort of rebellion that killed off all the humans, but considering the amount of time that's passed since then, that's probably not accurate.

PMD

-far out of Treasure Town, a second dungeon lies. This one is a large salt flat, extending as far as the eye can see. The sun beating down makes it hard to see, but black dots marching (or flying, in the case of a few) along in orderly groups are easy enough to make out. In the center, if you can get that far, a massive marble monolith rises, sunlight reflecting off it and adding to the haze that surrounds the entire area. Inside, there is a large network of pathways and rooms, lit by the sun filtering through narrow slits by the top, as well as the glowing crystals that light many homes in the PMD. Pokemon—Bisharp, Houndoom, and the occasional Honchkrow or Mandibuzz—hurry through these halls, all appearing to somewhere to be and something to do-

-at the very top of the tower is the largest room. At the north end, farthest from the entrance to the hall, is a window, wrapping around most of the far wall at eye level, but very narrow. On the east wall is a large, black, polished area where the marble has been smoothed to a shine. On the west wall there are maps pinned with utmost precision, and a few newspapers and scrawled reports-

-a shiny Zoroark stands at the north end, looking out the window calmly, with her paws held behind her back. Her mane falls just a little over the side of her face, obscuring one eye-

-after a few moments, an Alakazam enters the room-

Zoroark: -without turning around- Ah, Cesar... Would you bring up the image, please?

Cesar: Yes, Black Knight.

-the Alakazam turns to the polished section of the wall and closes his eyes, raising his spoons. They begin glowing, and on the wall an image of a large orb, at the top of a tower, appears. The Zoroark turns from the window to look at it. She smiles slightly-

Black Knight: The Time Space Orb... When will we be prepared to retrieve it?

Cesar: We've been training the troops on methods of getting through the tower with minimum casualties. We should be ready... by about next week.

Black Knight: So soon... Excellent work, Cesar. And your team is certain these methods will work?

Cesar: -nods- We have some of the brightest minds from around. Many of them have lived or attempted to pass through Destiny Tower themselves.

Black Knight: Yes, I know.

-she reaches out and nearly touches the image, but doesn't to avoid disrupting it-

Black Knight: When everything is ready, we will move out immediately. Soon, the Time Space Orb will be ours, and then our organization will be completely unopposed.

Cesar: Uh, you know that Van Kleiss is—

Black Knight: Do not speak to me about that ridiculous character. Van Kleiss will not retrieve the orb before we do, no matter how hard he tries. If he tries... then we will deal with him.

-she turns from the wall back to the window-

Black Knight: Dismissed. Continue with your work.

Cesar: Yes, ma'am.

-he retreats from the room, then image fading. Black Knight continues staring at the narrow window, eyes narrowed against the sun, a smile on her face-

-is starting to feel lonely-

Rim when are the others going to get here?

Rim: I don't know? Maybe soon. like in a hour?

... Lets go to treasure town. I bet they will be there soon.

-starts walking to treasure town with rim and plumps-

-Forte is pacing back and forth down the hall-

Forte: I can't believe this! First we have to stay grounded for days just because Katie's brother won't show up, and now Piano's gone too!

Marine: <Maybe if you fall asleep she'll come back.>

Forte: I'm sick of waiting! Maybe we should just take off and show her what it's like to be left behind all the time!

Marine: <Aww, but if you do that it'd disturb my nap.>

Airship, the Cold Zone

Icicle: -continues rolling the snowball- <This is fun!>

Shadow: <Whatever you say, dad.>

-beginning to wake up-

- Is checking up on Sinnoh, having gone off on my own this time, needing some time alone -

Forte: -kicks open the door to the Cold Zone- Hey, Shadow! It's time to take off!

Shadow: <I'll get right on it.>

Icicle: <Oh, are we going somewhere with snow?>

-Gilgamesh and Gino are looking around at Treasure Town-

Unfezant: You guys new to Treasure Town?

Gilgamesh: Uh, yeah...

Unfezant: Let me show you around! This is Duskull Bank, where Pokemon can keep their money safe. And this is...

-the Unfezant continues showing them around, while more of Umbra and Lina's mons gradually filter in. Meanwhile, the Fraxure watches from behind a building.-

Fraxure: Hmm... these Pokemon act like they've never heard of a city of Pokemon before... Must be from one of those hick villages or a cave or something. At least I think I know who the "princess" of the group might be... Kekeke!

Lake Verity

Okay then.

-starts swimming back towards the shore-

-Mezzo is swimming to shore when she notices a particular shape in the sky...-

Hey, wait a sec...

Lake Verity

-looks up-

Lake Verity

Yeah. That's our airship. What's going on?

Hunter: -is being led through town by an overly helpful Shinx-

Shinx: And this is Kangaskhan Storage! She'll store all the stuff that doesn't fit in your bag that you find on rescue missions!

Hunter: Uh... rescue missions?

Shinx: Yeah, rescue missions! You know, with your rescue team!

Hunter: Um... what's a rescue team?

Shinx: -eyes widen and he tackles Hunter- YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT RESCUE TEAMS ARE?!

Hunter: Ahhh! Get it off! Get it off!

-he thrashes around, tossing the Shinx off-

Shinx: -undeterred, he runs back over and stares at him- I need to show you the HQ, right now!

Hunter: Uh, n—Ah!

-the Shinx grabs his paw with his teeth and starts dragging him through the streets-

Hunter: -yelps- Quit it! Ah! Stop! Someone help!

-the other residents seem to be amused by the two young Pokemon-

-starts swimming to shore more quickly-

-does the same-

Airship, deck

Fortis: Wheeeeeeeee! We're actually flying! This is so amazing!

Lake Verity

-reaches shore, quickly changes back into clothes, and then starts rooting around in his bag for Marmalade's ball-

Lake Verity

-Mezzo immediately grabs her Xtrransceiver once she reaches shore and dials Forte's number-

Forte: Hello.

Forte, what do you think you're doing?

Forte: Oh, how do you like being left behind for once?

You turn that ship around right now and come pick us up!

Forte: No. You never came back for me! -hangs up-

...

Next time I see him, he's getting an umbrella straight to the face.
