The Staraptor frowns, glancing behind the bird Pokémon at his trainer, a human girl who seemed to be a young adult, along with her other Pokémon. Unlike these two, the Staraptor recognized most of these ones. A Pachirisu, and Espeon and an Infernape being a few examples. It certainly seemed like she was from the local area, at least.
Wild Staraptor: Shakes her feathers. <I still don't believe you. Your story just sounds so ridicolous. I mean, "Legendary Pokémon"? Everymon know they're not real.> Chuckles. <You're just making it up to make yourselves sound impressive, and that 'ain't going to work on me.>
Chase: (chuckles) <Not real, you say? Didn't you hear on the news about a volcano eruption in Hoenn that was stopped by the legendary weather trio a few weeks ago? Or, even better, how a few years ago, Team Galactic leader Cyrus attempted to use the power of Dialga and Palkia to change the universe, only to be twarted by Giratina, Cynthia and another young trainer?>

The Staraptor stares blankly at the trio of Pokémon.
Wild Staraptor: <...I don't have a clue what any of you are talking about.
Okay, I'll admit that I heard a few Pokémon talking about a volcano nearly erupting in a region to the south, yes, but...Cyrus? Dialga? Palkia? Really? I've never heard anything about a Cyrus, whatever that may be, and the odds of you, of all peoplemons, having met the deities of time and space themselves are the same as me laying an egg that hatches into either one of them in the next five seconds!>
The Staraptor pauses, internally counting down the numbers in her head to prove her point.
<...And would ya' look at that? No egg, no baby legendaries.>
Flicking her crest, the Staraptor picks up the [Tear of Light], then turns and walks away.
<Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to take this thing back home. And hey,> Turns to look back at everyone. <Next time you do see Mespirit, tell him or her or...whatever it is that I said thanks for the tear, 'kay?>
The Staraptor chuckles to herself, then turns around and gets ready to fly off.

The Staraptor stops hovering in mid-air, an annoyed look on her face. She didn't think that finding another tear would be this much of a hassle, and she was beginning to grow irritated.
Wild Staraptor: <Look, I'm a busy bird, and I really don't have the time to be dealing with all this nonsense. Now, of you don't mind, I need to get this tear back home. Evil wizards or not, these things sure are good at keeping away Spiritomb, that's for sure.>
She flies up and over Chase and continues onwards towards the forest, muttering under her breath.

Parisse and Paresse arrived in the city, they passed by the gym, noticing part of it has fallen down then saw the contest hall, which was very much intact. Just outside it was a wounded Slayride. "SLAYRIDE!" Parisse ran over and checked out his pokemon, a worried look on his face. "What happened?!" Slayride looked up weakly. <Got overtaken by some Spiritombs.. Soundwave saved me with scrapper but-> "Soundwave? Scrapper? Where are they?!" Parisse interrupted. <They said they were going to look around Sinnoh for answers.> Parisse sighed.

"Y'know I can ride a bike." Scrapper said as he looked up at the cycling road, pushing through some grass, following Soundwave. "Sarcasm Mode: AMAZING!" Scrapper scoffed. "Don't get so annoying.." It was thankfully a rather uneventful ride to the area below the Cycling Road since we used our usual methods of concealment to dodge the hordes of Spiritombs, whose numbers appeared to have increased, likely due to the number of Tears everyone had obtained. The feeling that I'd felt before was a lot fainter.
Artemia was inside my coat at the moment, as I had yet to officially "catch" her. Ana and Bohr were, well, I'm not exactly sure what they were doing with that Larvitar wisp (Perhaps comparing it with Pica, who looked pretty unamused herself.), but I convinced them to let him go before we ended up fighting a Tyranitar or something.
"Alright, let's get whatever Tears are down there guys.", I said as we entered. Hopefully we wouldn't run into too much trouble.
