Alastor: (hits a random Oddish with Shadow Ball, KOing it)

Veronica: Well done!

Veronica's Ponyta: (looks around nervously)

Veronica: What's the matter, Spitfire? (looks around) Yeah, it's the weather, isn't it? Well, I guess that's enough training for now. Let's head over to Fortree!

- Veronica and her team beginning running towards Fortree, aiming to get there as fast as they can. However, unbeknownst to them, Alastor has dropped something very important to him into the tall grass during the training -

Icicle: -tilts his head- <Is there a team like that for ice Pokémon?>

Sunny: <I don't think so. It's just Team Aqua and Team Magma.>

Icicle: <Well, I think there should be a Team Snow!>

Sunny: -sigh- <Dad, why are you always so crazy about the cold?>

Icicle: <Because snow is fun to play in!>

Breeze: <Don't forget Team Ozone!>

Breeze: <Oh, they were on that test I took to join Team Aqua.>

- Sierra is headed over to where Vyvyan is, so she can give him the hat she got him -

Team Ozone? What, do they care about the air?

Icicle: <There should be a Team Snow and it should blanket the whole world in snow so everyone can play together!>

Felis: <Tell me, runt. How is it even possible that your father is less mature than you?>

Sunny: <He just gets like this whenever someone mentions ice or snow.>

Rex: Anyway...

Ruins of the Alph, several months ago

The Natu continued to peck at the poor sheep's head, Ohm running around in panicked circles as she tried to shake him off.

Natu: <Make reparations to me, rapscallion.>

Ohm: <Get off!>

Channeling her irritation, Ohm lurched her body forward, tossing the Natu with a fierce Frustration attack. The bird righted itself, pecking at a wing unconcerned.

Rex: Go get him, Ohm!

The sheep obeyed, charging towards the little bird for another Frustration attack. However, the Natu was prepared this time, leering at Ohm sinisterly.

To everyone's surprise, she stopped in place and stared at the Natu in horror. Then she bolted in the opposite direction, bleating in terror.

Ohm: <Ack! Wolves! Go away!>

Rex and Co. watched in confusion, the little Natu pecking at some nearby pebbles on the ground.

Rascal: <...What is she doing?>

Gaea: <Must be Night Shade. It's making her hallucinate her fears.>

Ohm: <Eeeee!>

Ohm continued to run around the clearing in a panic, almost hitting her teammates and trainer a couple of times. Fortunately, they were able to get out of the way.

Krystal: <Watch it, fluffbrain!>

Of course, the Natu was not nearly as lucky, not expecting a "surprise attack" from the Mareep. Little Ohm slammed into him yet again, knocking him to the ground yet again.

Natu: <Oof!>

Irritated, the Natu got up again, stretching its wings slightly.

Natu: <Criminal!>

I've honestly never heard of or seen Team Ozone.

Breeze: <They're a mysterious organization working in the shadows!>

...Or they don't exist.

Goldenrod City Streets, One Hour Ago

Sol is running across the alleys, Sandslash and Mawile following, until after turning around a corner Sandslash sees something.

Sandslash♀: <Look! There is a Sandshrew there!>

Sol: <Wonder if that's him...>

In effect, a Sandshrew is calmly walking the opposite direction, towards them, holding a small berry in his paws.

As they get closer, the Sandshrew sees them, then sits on the ground and...

Dintel: <Oh hai! \\o o o/>

Sandslash♀: <....! it is him! Little brother!!!!!! \\o o o/> — rushes past Sol.

Sol -to Mawile: <Again with the colors... Why do they always do that?>

Mawile: <I don't know what you're talking about... are you feeling OK?> — blinks, pats Sol.

Sandslash rushes to her brother, picks him up and hugs him.

Dintel: <...Big sis! Wheeeeee~ You are here too?> — hugs back.

The two 'shrews hug and lick each other, then the Sandslash starts checking Dintel's scales and ears.

Mawile: <Awww.... that's kinda cute.>

Sol looks at the pair, sensing their mutual happiness with her jewel. She purrs contently.

After a while, both shrews walk back to the group.

Sol -walks around them: <So... this is the mon we were looking for?>

Sandslash♀: <Yes, this is my little brother [Dintel]! I haven't seen you in so long~>

Dintel sits on the ground and waves a hi~.

Goldenrod City Rooftops, Now.

Inside a wooden birdhouse, two large birds are sleeping, letting themselves be bathed by some sunlight.

Copahue: <...zZz...> — unconsciously nuzzles.

Harriet: <...zZz...> — nuzzles back.

Copahue: <...zZouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch OUCH!>

Copahue raises his bruised talon to see a little Starly perching on a stick right besides him. She joyfully hops around and calls up to him.

Shahinne: <Flight time! Flight time!>

Harriet starts shaking herself awake. After preening herself and yawning a couple of times, she hops ahead and cuddles Shahinne.

Harriet: <Little bird, we barely had any sleep last night. We are just getting used to this place... can we sleep some more? Please?>

Shahinne: <But I had lot of sleep! Dreamt with Aunt Salamence and Odette and many birds!> — smiles, hops around — <There was even a Pidgey, but they're so [   silly   ~>

Shahinne keeps talking about how awesome the sky and the dreams and the house and the sticks and the flowers and everything is, until she manages to wake up Harriet and Copahue. Then the three birds go for a brief flight around the building.

Route 118

Fool starts making her way to Fortree with Hatbox by her side. The egg starting to move more often than before

Slateport

Vyvyan notices Sierra off in the distance, quickly hiding his present in his cape

Vyvyan: -Waving to Sierra- Sierra! Over here!

Slateport

Sierra: Oh! There you are! (walks over to him)

-Has been spending lots of time sleeping recently, and most of the time I had spent awake is spent lost in very deep thought-

-going through my bag to check on the egg, when I run across my gift from Pentigan-

-it's a shipping drawing of a Glaceon and a Purrloin-

Huh. That's...huh.

Ruins of the Alph, several months ago

The Natu's eyes gleamed darkly, having decided to stop playing around. Rex and the others looked on in worry as it spread its wings, its obsidian colored eye lighting to an azure blue.

Natu: <   NO MORE GAMES. PREPARE TO WITNESS MY PSYCHIC POWER.   >

Rex: Oh no! Look out, Ohm!

Unfortunately, the sheep was still fighting off the image of the Night Shade, completely unfocused on the little bird at the moment. As such, her vision returned to normal just in time for her to witness the tiny bird's suddenly radiant aura.

Ohm: <Eeep!>

Natu: <   BEHOLD. COWER BEFORE THE MIGHT OF MY...   >

Both Trainer and Pokemon watched in horror as the tiny bird's aura flared...and then disappeared, the little bird now in front of Ohm.

Natu: <   TELEPORT!   >

It pecked at her feet, the group staring at him blankly.

Natu: <Are you in awe? Behold the power of movement by sheer thought!>

Rex: ...

Rascal: <...>

Anya: <...I wish I had hands so I could bury my face in them.>

Regaining her composure, the little sheep launched herself forward, tackling the little bird yet again with a Frustration.

Natu: <Argh!>

The Natu twitched weakly, dazed from the sudden attack.

Natu: <You are not...in awe of my power? ...Philistine!>

With a groan, the Natu flopped to the ground, dropping into a dead faint. Shrugging, Rex sorting through his Pokeballs and settling on a Heal Ball, tossing the capture device at the Natu. As expected, it was sucked into the ball, the orb wiggling once...twice...thrice...and then it was done.

Rex: Alright! Now I have six again!

He picked up the ball, looking at the little bird inside. The Pokeball's one-usage recovery system had kicked into effect, several tiny nanomachines circling the little bird and healing any scrapes or wounds it had suffered in the battle.

Rex: You look like a smart bird. I think I'll call you... Alfonse.

Placing the ball on his belt, he turned to Ohm with a grin.

Rex: You did a great job, O-

The sheep shuddered slightly, staring at Rex in confusion. Then, to everyone's surprise, a white light emanated from her wool, eventually growing to envelop her entirely. Rex shielded his eyes, the glow subsiding after a while. When he lowered his hands, he was surprised to see a now bipedal Ohm, tufts of her fur missing and her wool now a whitish color.

Pentigan sure gave out some weird gifts, huh?

Yeah, he did. How did he even get us these if we were asleep?

Silent's Room

Ichtacya: <...get back here you b*!>

Ichtacya leaps from the bed, to the ground, to the door of the closet room and wall-jumps from there to Silent's head, as she tries to chase after Jemma. The Skitty always keeps ahead of Ichtacya, sticking her tongue at her and calling her names.

"...This is taking a bit long..." Silent thinks.

Then Silent hears his Pokégear ringing. While Maekrite goes fetch it, Silent wonders if he should call Rex about this.

Maekrite: <Hey, this is showing a call from Goldenrod....>

"Bring it here! Perhaps it is about Dintel..."

- Shrugs -

I'm not sure...

Slateport

Vyvyan: Hey Sierra! How's it going?

Vyvyan starts to shuffle

Vyvyan: You know... it is the time of year for gift giving.. Do you want to... exchange gifts?

Back in Fallabor

Fool has left an Egg in Pentigan's room

Slateport

Sierra: (nods) Uh-huh! (takes out a box containing the hat she got for him)

-Is comtemplating the egg-

Slateport

Vyvyan examines the hat Sierra got for him, it's a nice black Fedora

Vyvyan: Wow, this hat... it's really cool! I love it Sierra!

Vyvyan removes his hoodie and puts on the hat, though this has the unfortunate side-effect of revealing the true extent of his burn.

Vyvyan: Would you like your gift now Sierra?
