-School Corridor, daytime-

-Two men are walking discussing some documents and photographs one of the two carries in a folder-

Director — ...It would be very interesting, yes. However, we don't really have much knowledge about when or how was this built. — looks around — My grandfather was handed over this building after it stopped working as a hospital.

— Then I'd need info about that time period... Do you think the City Hall would keep it, then?

-shakes head-

Director — Surely it would, however, because of the stack of changes in architectural provisions and construction laws some 10 years ago, most of that information is still being reorganized.

-turning around a corner to head to a yard-

Director — And while I thank PEFE's interest in this matter, I doubt the amount of time that you'd have to spend checking all that minutia for such a small connection would be of merit. All we can help it is with some copies of the old management books.

— You still keep them? Really?

Director — Sure... there's simply not enough room in the City Archives or the Hospital to keep them, and we are being subsidized to keep them in good condition. Here, lemme show you...

-The Director of the School walks me to the third floor of the library, of restricted access. Flashing a PEFE Researcher card works.-

-We walk across a couple of corridors where there are some historical documents as well as some accounting books. Two pictures of the Eon Dragons flying around a plaza with a particular shape I have seen before call my attention; I'll have to check it later. At the final corridor I see there is a shelf filled with medical reports and comprendiums. The Director and I stay at the historical documents section-

Director — You can stay here and check some of the ordinances for a couple of hours.

— Thanks... Would it be an issue if I can come in again tomorrow?

-The Director thinks for a moment-

Director — I'd have to ask the Hospital Board, since this is technically their room... but I guess if PEFE can vouch for this research this shouldn't be an issue.

— ...Right. Will have to make a call later in that case. — I hand the Director my card — You'll find me jogging around the eastern side of the city for the rest of the week.

Director (examines the card) — ...Aren't you, like, checked in somewhere?

-chuckles-

— This research requires me to stay on the move, so I'd rather not spend time checking in at a different hostel every day or something. Besides, I'd spend too little time around those anyway.

-After the Director is gone I start skimming through the pages of ordinances while looking for mentions of particular icons-

Nightime

-Walking out of the school as it is being closed, I make a turn around a corner-

Maekrite (peeks in from behind some bushes) — <Found anything of use?>

-shows a hand-drawn copy of a particular icon-

— Recognize this?

-Maekrite leans in and examines the drawing; he shows some interest on it-

Maekrite — <...It looks like one of the symbols in the Armor.> — raises his head — <What does that mean?>

— I have absolutely no idea. From what I gather, this icon was first used here by a carpeting company.

Maekrite (frowns) — <Carpeting like...?>

-nods-

Maekrite — <I don't understand...>

-we walk along-

— Neither do I. Looks like we'll have to spend quite some time in this island... First thing is to trace the uses and history of this icon.

-disappearing into the night-

-I begin climbing up the wheels, trying to lure the Serperior into following me so that DS can hit the switches-

-The ferry pulls into the Hamlin Island harbour-

-The girl takes a deep breath, and takes a step onto the gangplank. She stumbles a little on the way down-

now that I think of it, I've never heard my pokemon discuss this place, yet the others have..
