-About 5 minutes, and a box full of ingredients, chemicals, and bottle rockets later-

-Standing at portal with Pokemon-

Jeff: "But how are we supposed to get this stuff to you?"

"We've got another way in there that's a little more roundabout."

Jeff: "If you say so. You're welcome to the stuff that's lying around. I think that I've got about 10 gallons of the blue serum and 4 of the red lying around in here."

"Thank you so much for this..."

-Leaves through portal with Pokemon-

<Cibel: "It was nice seeing you again!">

<Sway: "Yeah! We'll have to meet up again soon!">

-Falters at the portal-

<Iggy: "...">

Jeff: "... Wait, what's wrong, Lemmy?"

<Sway: "Yeah, come on!">

<Gligar!Vlad: "Aww... What's wrong?">

<Iggy: "... It's just that... I just got to meet Tracer again and...">

-A pause-

<Iggy: "... What if you get hurt?">

"Look, I know that this is probably really confusing for you right now. But you're probably more helpful if you went with your other teammates..."

<Iggy: "... If you say so...">

"I know that this isn't probably going to be much comfort for you, Iggy. But I don't want to see you get hurt. Things turned out differently for you this time around... I'm worried that if you come with us, we'll wind up getting you killed..."

<Iggy: "If you survive this, do you promise you'll come to see me?">

"I will, Iggy..."

-At the portal-

<Iggy: "Goodbye, Tracer. I hope that this will all work out for you...">

-Goes through the portal-

Jeff: "... What was that about?"

"It's very complicated, I'll explain it to you if we get to meet again."

"... Should we leave this portal up, or close it?"

It might be best to close the portal. I'd rather not have any of Lanius' goons find out about this place, or next thing you know there'll be boats on our HQ's doorstep if a single mon manages to get away.

Tangent: Well, Jeff, you should find access to needed materials here. Barley, where does that put us on munitions?

Barley: <Welp, apart from whenever this feller gets his emotion bombs done... The Portal Gun lines are now making 10 guns in an hour, we've filled a couple warehouses with the turrets, and all that crazy test stuff is being positioned for ease of portaling.>

Tangent: So we really need to step up distribution, you're saying.

It sounds female, yes...but you could be faking that. It's not really concrete proof that you're with us.

At Inka's place

-After insisting that I am fine enough, I have Magneton and Inka help me set up an antenna and a laptop to try and sync to PEFE via a topology bridge at the Nidocave's systems-

-While I examine the data, two messengers, a Nidorina and a Linoone, come in-

Linoone — <Still in the city... We don't know what is going on with them and we don't have a reliable way to know, either.>

Nidorina — <The four we got out are already en route to Ecruteak. Once there you should be able to coordinate with them.>

— Well... four is a lot, considering the circumstances.

Nidorina — <There is also a notice from the Elders... They say Frithvaorah is OK, and are requesting a mission from him soon...>

"Dad" (rests his body) — <That's good news, finally!>

— Wait.. Frithvaorah... Luke? Luke is here?

Linoone — <...Er, yeah... He got here yesterday at some point...>

Nidorina — <He's not the only one though... some other human who understands monese is here too!>

— ...Oh? — I try to stand up — I have to check all this stuff... I have work to do...

Inka (getting nervous) — <Silent No! I said NO!> — tries to restrain me — <You have to rest some more!>

-Inka pushes me against the makeshift bed and rests her arm against my chest-

-Fool, Michelle, Cuddlekins and Stella are being guarded by the posse of Nidorin@ that found them last night-
