Katsuragi simply let his head hang, both knowing that saying nothing would be better.

-she's getting more used to the Stormchaser leading her where she needs to go, still-
-she wrenches open the supply closet, intending to restock on paper towels—-
Megan: -eyes flying open- Eep!
-Addie's frantically shushing her-
-Megan's step back becomes a stumble as she tries to keep her heel from striking the floor-
-she pinwheels her arms, striving frantically to keep from falling—her foot falls finally on soft carpeting, and she steadies-

Megan: ...
-...Addie beckons to the door-
-and Megan peers closer:-
-Logan's curled up asleep inside on a pile of vacuum bags, snoring quietly-
-Megan's shocked expression melts slowly, quietly into something gentler-

-The sparks radiating from Piku-chan's cheeks unite with the ball of psychic energy hovering above Hatty's head, and the two Pokémon send the orb of lightning and PSI-Power into the air, sending ripples of rainbow light through the clouds of the Dynamax Storm and focusing on the Coalossal and Lapras below, first the rainbow waves of Psychic energy pour down on the Gigantamaxed Coal and Transport Pokémon at a constant rate, followed by a seven-colored bolt of lightning that follows the path of PSI-Waves and strikes the Coalossal and Lapras with immense force.

-Two fiery explosions of energy burst from Melony's Lapras and Gordie's Coalossal as their Galar Particle-laden auras fade and they shrink down to their normal size and form, unconscious.-

-Evelyn comforts Ian, who is still a bit drained from their sudden stress explosion, when she notices Cuddles approaching.-
Evelyn: -telepathically to Cuddles- ~You shouldn't worry about us... It's been a very stressful day and we just need to work things out in our own way...~
White Forest, Past
-It had been a while since the incident at the Lee House had boiled over. Everything from then still weighed heavily on the Ian's mind: Evelyn knew his secret identity as Joybringer, Gale Knight vanished and no word of her has been heard. He wandered into a clearing with Piku-chan by his side, thinking that if there were any answers he could find, he'd find them here. With nothing else to lose, he takes a stick in hand and draws an arcane sigil around himself. He steps carefully as he draws the circle around him, so as not to partially erase it with his foot.-
-Ian stands perfectly still in the center of the magic circle. He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and thrusts his hands out in front of him.-
Me: O, Mistress of Melody, Lady of the Dance, Muse of all Pokémon and Humans, I call to thee... I seek thee for inspiration and guidance! Please, hear my call, O Musical One! Meloetta! Detekoi!
-Ian channels his psychic energy through his feet into the sigil surrounding him. His eyes glow radiant pink and he begins to hover a few inches off the ground. If all goes right, the answers he seeks will be found.-

-he says, in a flat tone to rival any of hers—and as rivalry goes, her silence rises to the challenge-

Hiro: She's made of blood stolen from my relatives' graves and years of indoctrination.
-Abilene kneels in the slush, stripping off a glove, her white-burning torch laid bare against the snow-
Hiro: She's one killing machine—one murderous person among many, most of whom I personally killed.
-Abilene feels in the dirt for a carrot already planted—it chills to the touch, stinging her fingers-
Hiro: The greatest personal tie any of them had to people I care about was showing up specifically to kill me, mostly so they could go back to abducting my loved ones. There is nothing special about her—not the threat she posed, not risk, not potential to change.
Abilene: -blowing on her hand- Your emphasis speaks volumes.
Hiro: I know there's potential for good. That doesn't change the very real risk that they'll get us when we're reaching too far.
I know this. They know this. They decided, and so did I.
Abilene: Then why did you save her?
Hiro: I didn't. Ever saved her. Their ancient Mimikyu saved her.
Abilene: And?
Hiro: -huff- I shot her in the face and kept it from killing her later.

Abilene: The hell vehicle that is now person enough to hate for those she loves.

A location: a small hamlet in Galar, far off the beaten track and thus left unvisited by most trainers.

I suppose the closest I could come to doing so would be to say that you seem to act a bit more... instinctual I'd say - and I don't mean that in a bad way!"
She shortly scratched the back of her head slightly before shrugging apologetically.

On Emer's lap meanwhile, Krasnaya had eaten up her own portion of the food as well, looking up to Emer curiously, having sensed that panic as well.

She takes a few steps forward and tells her first lie of the day.

Vana: That's good, it will make this easier. The way I plan to test you is by entering your mind and looking at your memories.
She pauses, ready to tell her second lie.
Vana: Unfortunately, it is possible to fabricate false memories if one has a strong enough imagination. So before we begin, I need to ask you a few questions that we both already know the answers to, so that I can tell the signature of a real memory from a false one.
She holds up three fingers.
Vana: First, give me you full name, designation, and batch. Second, tell me why you're in Hulbury. Third tell me what your powers allow you to do.

Platinum: I am Schoolkid Platinum, Atomic Designation Number 78 of the Freshman Class. I was created to be able to manipulate light and lightning. I can also utilize hypnosis that is weak enough that all it does is put someone to sleep, and I can unleash psychic waves that induce vertigo in anyone I see a threat. The sleep and dizziness induction are my own, but the light and lightning powers I share with my sister, Schoolkid Gold, Atomic Designation Number 79 of the same Class I was decanted. I am in Hulbury because I was tasked with locating an escaped Schoolkid. After the Templar Ferrum and Schoolkid Radon failed in their mission, I stepped forward to track her down. If she's anywhere in Galar, I will know about it.

She delves into Platinum's memories, searching for any signs of dissent against the school, though for different reasons than the ones she's given. Then she frowns.
Vana: I've never seen something like that before.

Vana: It's like... I don't know the best way to describe it. It's like there's a barrier around some of your memories that are holding me back from them. I've seen something similar before, but that was different.
She struggles to find the best explanation.
Vana: Imagine that the inside of a person's mind is all one colour, or at least shades of that colour. Except rather than colours, it's a sort of mental aura. If this was like a barrier that you made to block traumatic memories, it would be the same "colour" as the rest of your mind, but it's not. Which means that someone else put a barrier in your mind to block off memories.

Platinum: I see... And is there anything that can break this "barrier"?

Vana: Well, someone with powers like mine could go at it, but it would take longer than we have right now to break down. Or the person who made the barrier could remove it. Or a psychic with way stronger powers could shatter your whole mind, which would destroy the barrier as well.
She smiles.
Vana: But I think we'll try and avoid that one.
She pulls her hand away and exits Platinum's mind.
Vana: Well, aside from whatever's in your mind that someone doesn't want you to see, there's nothing that would suggest your loyalty to the school is compromised. So unless you want a hand tracking down this missing schoolkid, I guess I'll be off.

Caught off-guard by the distress signal Kamui fell onto her back, blinking the spots out of her eyes before turning to look at Katsuragi.
She sat up. "Pack it up!"
A good 15 minutes later
"What do you need all these for?" Kendall asked as he looked at his old backpack, filled with an assortment of things not unlike when he started his own journey, "almost thirteen years ago", he realized.
"That's between me and Arceus." She defended, sealing it all up and getting blinked away by Xatu.
"Were you able to glean anything?" He asked the Flying-type, looking at him.
Unobtanium, hamlet, help. Those three words were all she was thinking about.
"Ugh. Sounds like a Schoolkid. Hopefully she doesn't start talking purple."
Galar Somewhere, Probably Near Balloonlea?
She landed in a flash in front of the Gym, looking at its emblem with disdain before working her way to where she felt the destination was from here. That distress signal only gave her the general idea of what she was looking for, but damn if she wasn't going to find it.
