Me: My answers to those two questions, in reverse order, are "Cafe Sonata" in Castelia City...

Kim: "Very well, then." (She looks down at her Pokemon, all of whom nod towards her with determination.) "Let's do this."

(And with that, we cut straight to...)

PRACTICE MONTAGE

(...a practice montage of all of the members of New Dawn's Dreamers practicing their respective instruments. Respectively: Kim and Joel are singing, Dio has received an electric guitar, Sinatra a trumpet, Kaylan is on drums, and Paul has received a bass guitar. In the background, [Rush]'s "[Headlong Flight]" plays. While the first two- and Kaylan- seem to pick up their instruments- or lack thereof- fairly quickly, Dio, Sinatra, and Paul all look at their instruments with consternation, apparently confused as to how to play them. Kim stares down at them, then looks up, thinking about what she should do next. She then looks over at Ian and Evelyn, to see how they are doing.)

PRACTICE MONTAGE

-Ian nods, assuring them that they're doing great... Then looks over at Evelyn and whispers... "Methinks I haven't bought enough instruments for US.", to which Evelyn laughs and whispers back "I think you're right."-

How has a gentle soul like you lived so long, in this sweet, beautiful world where all the animals breathe fire.

Byleth: -mirroring, crouches down and pets a passing cotton candy-

-...or maybe she just enjoys it-

Vee: <...uhhhh.>

-and she wanders over to a nearby hedge, and...starts Bubble Draining it-

Pippy: <...in retrospect, these are all fairly mundane!> ^v^

Megan: ...what kind of bacteria do you cultivate? :o

Pippy: <Mostly I was curious!! It's been ages since I've gotten a cough. Totally.> •v•;

PRACTICE MONTAGE

(Kim nods back. Cut to another scene, where Sinatra, Paul, and Dio all have sheet music in front of them for, respectively, the trumpet, bass guitar, and electric guitar. The three of them look down at their instruments and try to hold and play them, but can't. They look at each other nervously, before we cut to multiple intercut scenes of Kaylan, Joel, and Kim practicing, while Sinatra, Dio, and Paul are looking up "how to play the trumpet," "how to play the bass guitar," and "how to play the electric guitar" on YouTube. We cut to multiple scenes of them attempting- and failing- to play their instruments, while Kim looks over at them in concern. Eventually, she takes a look at Geddy, who is watching from afar— and her eyes widen in shock as she suddenly gets an idea.)

(The practice montage ultimately ends. By now, the group is on the Stormchaser. Kim is talking to Joel and Kaylan for a bit, before eventually, Sinatra speaks up from behind.)

Sinatra: <Alright, so... are ya gonna help us out here, or what?! I cannot play the trumpet with...> (He holds up his paws.) <These!>

Dio: <Yeah. We've memorized the music, and the notes, and the time signatures, and all that jazz, but how can we play any of the instruments if we don't have... you know...>

Kim: (turning to them) "Hands?"

Paul: <Exactly! We kind of need hands to play these instruments, you know.>

Elton: <They do have a point.>

Kim: (looking up) "Indeed they do... but you need not worry. I have an idea." (she turns to Ian) "Ian? May I please see your phone?"

Me: Honestly... I don't have a phone. I just have my Xtransceiver... with phone capabilities...

-Aspen walked out onto the field and looked around. It was empty, no one was there, Milo wasn't there either, a person came up to her-

Stadium Employee: "Sorry challenger, Milo isn't here at the moment, plus, we're busy cleaning the stadium for the gym challenge. Since you did clear the challenge room, you won't have to do it again when you challenge Milo. Once again, I'll apologize. Here for your troubles, have this Rotom Bike, complete with a Rotom inside."

Stadium Employee: "Don't worry about me, I have an extra. Anyways, with that bike, you can turbo boost when Rotom has blue sparks coming from the bike, allowing you to go even faster for a short period of time."

Aspen: "Gee, thanks!"

Employee: "Don't mention it! Consider it an apology gift."

-Aspen putted the bike in her bag (somehow) and left-

(It is Valentine's Day. Kim is inside the Rebel Treble, and Kaylan, Joel, and the rest of the bandmates of NDD are practicing for the battle against Shadow Cast. Elton, Freddie, Geddy, and Orwell, meanwhile, are happily playing together. Kim watches them all, smiling to herself as she does it— then looks down.)

Kim: "Hm... I feel as though today would be a good day for us to register for the Gym Challenge..."

(And the second they hear the words "Gym Challenge," all of Kim's Pokemon come running up to her in excitement.)

Dio: <The Gym Challenge?!>

Kaylan: <Really?!>

Elton: <Are you serious?! Today's the day we finally get to register?! Oh my god, you do not even know how long I have been waiting for this day!>

Freddie: <I-it certainly sounds fun...>

Elton: <Oh, come on now, Freddie! What's wrong with the Gym Challenge?>

Freddie: <Nothing...>

Geddy: <I'm certainly excited. You got the endorsement, right?>

Kim: "I did indeed." (turns) "Ian? Evelyn?"

Valentine's Day, Galar Wild Area, Triple Moon Stage

-It's nighttime. The sky is clear with the stars shining brightly, making the inky darkness of space shown by the sky look a dark blue. A simple wooden stage with a golden symbol that looks like three moons in different phases painted on it stands in a part of the Wild Area, and two young trainers walk up to it. One, a boy named Ian. The other, a witchlike girl named Evelyn. They've only met a few months ago and became fast friends soon after...-

Me: Y'know, Evelyn... I don't think I've ever seen this part of the Wild Area before.

Evelyn: -chuckles- I guess this part of the Wild Area's not all that known to people.

-Evelyn jumps onto the stage, and Ian climbs on after her.-

Me: Still, you gotta admit... It's such a lovely night out.

-A faint reddish-pink fades into Evelyn's cheeks as she looks at Ian...-

Evelyn: -softly- Ian?

Me: -blushing- Y-Yes, Evelyn?

Evelyn: -softly- Please stay with me...?

-Ian looks around the Wild Area, as he and Evelyn stand in the full moon part of the stage, then looks back at Evelyn and nods...-

Evelyn: W-would you like to dance?

-Ian nods "yes" to Evelyn. The two approach the center of the stage as the light of the moon and stars shine down on the stage like a spotlight. Ian and Evelyn look into each other's eyes, and begin to dance... Dance like no one is watching them.-

-With each careful step, Ian and Evelyn dance. When Ian spins Evelyn, Evelyn spins Ian back. As they dance, they feel as though their hearts beat in unison... Is this how it feels to fall in love?-

Evelyn: -softly- Ian?

Me: Yes, Evelyn?

Evelyn: -softly- D-Do you...

-Beat-

Evelyn: Do you love me?

-Ian stops... thinking about his answer... What should I say, Ian thinks to himself... When Ian regains his composure, he replies...-

Me: -softly, but confidently- Yes, Evelyn. I do... but... I feel like we should give it some time before we can well and truly cement a romantic relationship... Y'know... get to know each other a little better... I mean, we did just meet two months ago...

Evelyn: -nods to Ian, understandingly- Thank you, Ian. I appreciate your honesty...

-Ian and Evelyn's blushes intensify, knowing how they feel for each other, even though it has only been two months...-
