Tommy approaches Detective Shun, who seems to fittingly enough be dressed as an actual detective. Though for some reason, Tommy can't help but feel that Detective Thompson is supposed to be wearing a black suit.

Tommy: Hey, Detective. So glad to see you here. I've been told you were busy with that recent kidnapping investigation and I came to give you this.

He shows a USB and seems rather proud of it. Behind him is a pidgey, Scout, who got herself covered in white flour for the occasion.

-He walks off, leaving Lucius to try and stutteringly explain himself.-

Lucius: Hey, it's not like I don't like having you around! I really do, it's just... I know I don't have much chance of making conversation here with anyone here except for you. I know that's my own fault, but... it makes me wonder what the point of me actually being here is, besides hanging around the bar until closing.

-Alice chuckles.-

Alice: In that case, good luck. You're certainly going to need it. In fact, let me offer you a little incentive...

-She gives Kai a long kiss before finally pulling away with a smile.-

Alice: ...If you win, there's far more where that came from.

-Shun starts upon being addressed by Tommy, but seems rather relieved to have a distraction - though at the same time he seems to be regretting his choice of fake moustache.-

Shun: Ah, Mr Petersen! Glad to see you here as well. Yes, I have been very busy over the last few weeks, but I have been persuaded to take some time off for fear that I will only end up burning myself out. Nevertheless, I will be happy to accept any assistance in this case.

-His hand reaches out to take the USB, but hesitates as he grabs it.-

Shun: ...If you don't mind me asking, what can I expect to find on this particular drive?

Arthur steps out into view, still followed by Denali, scratching his beard, "So you're certain nobody will recognize me as the undying knight?"

"Positive, what with that silvery... gorgeous ha- ahem... what with the silvery gray hair and the large scar across your nose, some will think you are lookalikes, besides what's the likelihood that someone from your past will recognize you in a instant?"

-One can almost see the little hearts radiating off of Kai as they're kissed.-

Kai: ...Consider me incentivized.

-They pause, then cough slightly before attempting to get back into character as someone other than a lovestruck fool.-

Kai: Anyway, I was planning on making a stop to get a drink, want me to bring you anything?

Diane: Yeah, no, I can't argue with that, the J-Team is extra by nature. Granted, we're not really... involved with the J-Team anymore, at least not directly. Skye and I don't really do the adventure thing much anymore.

-She raises one of her hands, showing the ring on it.-

Diane: Trying to get somewhat settled down, you know?

Tommy: Well, we were informed that both Interpol and the gendarme were investigating a case of kidnapping that you had witnessed. The people were costumed, but we had a few leads involving the testimonies of both a rather eccentric individual wearing 19th Century outfits and a man about my age with prosthetic arms. Now I know this sounds weird without a frame of reference, but it will make sense. We also have reason to believe that, based on the testimonies involved, that the staff of the PEFE headquarters might be in grave danger.

"If it's still a little hard," Colton began, offering a paw in a gesture of assistance/dealing, "I'll join you to get some more soda and keep people from talking to ya. That okay?" He offered.

Mistralton Cave:

The fury swipes proved to be somewhat effective against the durant Rumba targeted, however it wouldn't be enough to knock them out. Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately, depending on one's perspective), Chopper would show up out of nowhere, delivering a mega kick to the wounded durant hard enough to send them flying into a wall, completely knocked out on impact. Riolu would get attacked by one of the biting durants, but retaliate with a brutal counter-attack that resulted in a forward kick straight into their face, knocking them out cold after flying and later tumbling on the ground a few feet away. Mark would then order magneman to deliver a powerful shock wave into another opponent, but with 7 durants left on the battle field, all determined to bite their opponents once again, someone would need to come up with a quick move to dispatch the competition quickly if they didn't want to get exhausted so soon.

-Shun looks aghast at the mention of PEFE HQ for a moment before he attempts to compose himself.-

Shun: I... I see. Unfortunately I can't disclose details about ongoing investigations, but I will review these testimonies to see if they collaborate our own account of events. As for the PEFE... I'm afraid I don't know much about them, but I've been told that their facilities are quite adequately defended. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about on that front.

A older gentleman dressed in an embarrassingly unfortunate superhero costume appears before Arthur. He seems to be accompanied by someone.

Reynard: Hello, sir. I'm the chocolatier. Anyway, my associate here, Professor Hawthorn, would like to meet Silas. He has traced his ancestry to a knight that had served under one of Silas' ancestors.

The professor himself is dressed in an astonishingly accurate replica of blued 15th Century Plate Armor. A honedge that accompanied them seems almost gitty, yet at the same time was rather speechless.

Professor Hawthorn: I was informed that Mr. Grant is an excellent weaponsmith, as we've heard about his ancestor in the legends. It would be an honor to meet him.

“Okay then,” Colton allows, watching Lila walk off. He also goes inside, more to grab some snacks and maybe chat with people than anything else.

Tommy: My partner and I had a bit of trouble with that, actually; we didn't have a lot of leads except a few people at doughnut stores, and we were able to narrow down our search because my new assistant was an auric. He might be able to fill you in on a few other details. He's in and around, dressed as [Ethan] from that one game.

"Oh congrats," David responded, Silas smirked a bit at the ring.

"Still, the extraness never leaves, ever," he said.

David shrugged, "So who are your friends? The girl and the guy?"

Silas started laughing again, "Oh man, would you believe my pokemon?"

David blinked, "No, no I wouldn't."

"Well then you probably wouldn't believe that Diane is also a lycanthrope either."

"Speaking as a former hybrid super-soldier, yeah yeah I find that hard to believe."

Silas smiled at Diane knowingly.

Arthur stared at the group, and begun to laugh a bit, "You're looking for Silas right? Shame really, last I checked he's not a weaponsmith, not in the way you're thinking judging by that armor."

Denali smiled as well, "I'll go find our friend anyways, you haven't met up with him yet."

As he left Arthur turned back to the group, "Tell me, what are you looking for in a Weaponsmith? Someone to forge replica items, maybe see about more accurately recreating the armor of old the Knight wore? Little detail the records withhold, the knight wasn't a knight, but a blacksmith who engaged on his journey not to save the people of Kalos but rather just to get uncursed with the help of the alchemist Merlin."

He scratched his beard a bit before pulling out the sword and showing it off to the group, "Maybe something like this?"

-Shun nods at Tommy rather shyly.-

Shun: I, er... I'll be on the lookout for said assistant. You wouldn't happen to be able to provide me with his name, would you? Only it would make this investigation much easier if we had a name and a description.

Diane: Oh, but we are. Well, I'm an avianthrope, "lycanthrope" technically refers to wolfmons and other canine therianthropes, but the point still stands. I'd prove it, but unfortunately this gear is hell to put back on.

Arthur's side, Asimov Party

The two men stared at the sword. The honedge was more than excited and floated forward, not saying anything.

Professor Hawthorn: I work for a museum. Yes, I'm here on behalf of my colleagues—historians and archeologists—who were looking for a period weaponsmith who could create accurate reproductions for future exhibits.

Reynard: I'm no sword expert but man is this a pretty sword. I like the weight distribution. It's like that one movie about Crobatman becoming a ninja in the time of Ancient Johto. Pretty awesome stuff. But with a [European] sword like this. I mean, I read some of the vintage comics and even a few of the better takes from [Alan Moore] back in the days when dark comics weren't bad.

Professor Hawthorn: I'm also deeply interested in my own family's history. Arthur's legends have been a prominent figure in my family and my family history contends that one of my ancestors fought alongside him. I do understand that my family's legends may have been embellished over the years, but it does feel like something of an honor to be able to meet the descendant of someone my ancestors held in high regard.

The honedge moved closer. If it could make facial expressions, it'd be doing an embarrassingly fanboyish one.

Professor Hawthorn: This armor is a close replica of surviving examples of armor worn by people of his rank. I had hoped my ancestor would appreciate my attempts to recreate his old armor.
