-awakes with N looming over my head-

Oh, Good day, my lo-WAIT. My lord?-shoots up out of bed on the opposite side- Wh-wha-wha-what are you doing here?

-N looks quizzically at me-

N:I thought it was someone from that group. That's good, but by your tone and speech, I assume you are part of Team Plasma and sent to secretly spy on me. Am I right?

Uhh....I don't know what you're talking about?

N:Now, now, I may have been kept under close watch since I was a child and haven't had much interaction with others, but even I know you're lying.

-sighs-You're right. I am a part of the former Team Plasma, but I was not sent to spy on you, but rather look after your well-being.

N:Well, if that's all, I guess that's okay...But I'm definitely not going back to Team Plasma. However, you should have more faith in me to keep myself safe.

N:-N starts towards the door-Well then, later.-leaves-

-is still somewhat dumbstruck, then flushes in embarassment-

I better get going too...-gets up and unsteadily makes way out-

-A brief trip to the Pokemon Centre later, and my Pokemon have been restored to full health.-

Well done guys, you all did great in that battle! If we keep this up, we'll win the conference for sure.

Woolly: <That wasn't an easy fight though. I mean, his Rapidash set my Cotton Guard on fire! That's never happened before!>

Unite: <Whoa! That really happened?!>

Woolly: <Uh-huh! I had to roll around on the floor to put myself out! Otherwise I would have been roasted! And worst of all, it nearly ruined my scarf!>

-Woolly runs her hand along her scarf, which is thankfully undamaged.-

Woolly: <I'm glad it didn't get burnt though!>

Yeah. It would have been a shame to have it ruing just after I got it for you. That reminds me! I need to get something for you Stratus!

Stratus: <...>

...Stratus?

-Stratus is looking very miserable all of a sudden.-

Hey...What's wrong?

-The Dragonite looks at me.-

Stratus: <I lost...>

Flare: <So? we all lose every now and then. It's nothing to beat yourself up about.>

-Stratus shakes his head.-

Stratus: <No, you don't understand. The whole point of me joining you guys was 'cause I wanted to enter this tournament and prove that I'm not useless. But...I lost my first battle...How am I supposed to show everyone I'm not useless if I lost in the first battle?>

Lake: <Hey, come on...>

-Lake places an arm on Stratus shoulder.-

Lake: <We've only been in one battle so far. They'll be others, and I'm sure you'll win in at least one of them.>

Yeah, we've only just started. You've got plenty of time to prove yourself. But I have to ask...Who's been saying that you're useless?

-Stratus gives me a sad look.-

Stratus: <...Everyone.>

Sol: <...Everyone? Would you care to be a bit more specific?>

Stratus: <Well, when I mean everyone, I mean my friends, my family. Everyone important...>

...Oh, you poor thing.

Woolly: <(Sniff) That's so sad!>

Unite: <Wow. That's rough buddy!>

Flare: <No kidding.>

Sol: <That is most unfortunate.>

Lake: <Aww, Stratus. I'm so sorry to hear that.>

Okay, listen Stratus. Let's go and find everyone else, then you can tell us all about this.

Stratus: <...Okay.>

- Sparq starts running again, trying to dodge the air cutters, but does take a few hits. He doesn't take much damage, however -

Oh, very well then. Sparq, let us show him what you've got! Quick Attack!

- Sparq builds up speed, makes another leap into the air, striking Crobat lightly from behind, barely managing to grab hold of it before falling off again -

Now, Sparq! Use Discharge!

- Sparq smirks, and releases a large amount of electricity while still clinging onto Crobat -

-Crobat is knocked out of the sky-

Saturn: -recalls Crobat- Alakazam!

-Is cheering for DS-

Well done, Sparq!

- I recall Sparq, deciding to give him a break while letting another Pokémon take over -

Artemis, your turn!

- As the pokeball opens, the seals on the pokeball capsule on it releases a special effect of black hearts briefly floating around the Liepard as she takes the stage -

Okay, since I'm not sure which ability this Alakazam has, I'm not going to take the chance of using Fake Out, just in case it does have the Inner Focus ability. Instead, use Night Slash!

Artemis: (smirks) <All right.>

- Artemis begins charging at Alakazam, her claws glowing with a dark power as she prepares to strike -

Saturn: Alakazam, Shockwave!

-Alakazam summons electrical bolts, which arc out in all directions-

- Artemis makes the off-screen cat noise in pain, but doesn't let this stop her Night Slash attack, and she strikes Alakazam hard with her claws -

-Tangent wakes up in the igloo-

Hmm? Oh. How long has everyone been up???

-heads down to sit by Tagg-

Morning, Tagg. Any idea where Tracer is?

GO DS! YOU'VE BEAT HIM TWICE BEFORE, YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN!

Saturn: Shockwave again!

-Alakazam unleashes another electric blast-

-Looks at Tangent-

He's probably training.

-Pauses-

I never did tell you about the rest of the story, did I?

- Artemis takes another hit, I briefly check the Poketch to check how much damage she has taken, her health having been brought down to about half -

Artemis, use Pursuit!

- Artemis charges at Alakazam, ready to strike, a faint purple aura surrounding her as she does so -

Hang on a sec... Rufus likes stories.

Have you seen where my mons went? Abigail was by the igloo, but I haven't seen where the rest got to...

Saturn: One more Shockwave!

-Alakazam expends the last bits of its strength, sending out a third burst of electricity-

-finishes up making some final changes to my team and goes out to welcome an old friend-

Am I supposed to tell Wolf my new team?

- Artemis manages to hit Alakazam with Pursuit, even though she does take some damage herself as Alakazam unleashes it's last Shock Wave attack as Artemis strikes it -

(Close to the shipping container with the fangirls) (Get it? shipping container?)

— Now, Dintel, you stay here, make Maekrite some company. Both of you *points at each one in turn* don't. leave. this. place. I'll be back in a minute.

(Turns and returns to the stands to look for Tangent and the others)

— Uh... where may have they sit? (Starts walking across the stands taking alternative looks at the ongoing battle) I hope I can finally sit down and watch a good battle.

(At the container place, Dintel sits and waves back and forth nervously)

Dintel — (in a low voice) <I have done nothing wrong this time... why did Trainer leave me?>

Maekrite — (getting close) <Hey, Dintel... *sniffs* You smell... guilty... or something. What's going on around here?>

Unite: <Um. It's actually "everymon" when you're referring to just Pokémon.>

-Lake can't help but chuckle.-

Lake: <No Stratus, DS is the nickname a friend of ours goes by! It's short for "Darker Shining".>

Stratus: <Why does she call herself that?>

- As Artemis is starting to get tired, I recall her -

Ribbons, you're up next!

- The seals placed on Ribbons' pokeball capsule causes a special effects of golden stars surrouding the Gothitelle's body as she enters battle -

All right, let's do this! Ribbons, use Psychic!

- The bow like feelers on Ribbons' body all glow white, as does her eyes as she unleashes a powerful psychic blast directed at Toxicroak -

Saturn: Toxicroak, Faint Attack!

-Toxicroak suddenly vanishes, reappearing behind Ribbons and striking at her-

Basket went somewhere with Tracer last night, and I don't know where your other Pokemon are.

-Starts again-

Anyway, once Missingno was buried, we all pretty much went our separate ways before we met up in Unova again. Of course, some of us got together sooner than others.

- Ribbons gives a small cry of pain as the Toxicroak strikes her from behind -

Ribbons, Psychic again!

- Ribbons immedietly looks behind her and blasts Toxicroak with another psychic blast -
