I don't know why Celio's here, Anom. Maybe it's because he knows Bill. Or because he's one of the few possible representatives from the Sevii Islands.

It doesn't really matter when the signature Pokemon is used. Clay canonically uses his second.

-Antoine shields his head with his arms and gets hit with the Aerial Ace. He is blown back a bit, but immediately punches his arms back down and doesn't seem to be out of breath yet-

Well, whoever is last in the list of Pokemon should be the flagship one, I guess. Then again, it's not like there's a rule saying it has to be saved for last.

I know I've seen Clay use Excadrill last. I think they usually save it for last, but switch it in early if the situation calls for it. I've noticed that if you destroy their first Pokemon immediately they're more likely to call in the big guns right away.
