Sergey and Alyesha both shortly seemingly left the area (mentally that is) to face a great test of stamina and wits.

All their Pokémon all the while hammered attacks on the... things that left the portal.

And that will be my last post before the exam, gl to you guys.

-Maxim grabs the nearest mote and bites it's head off.-

Maxim: <... Needth thalt.>

-The other motes nearby pause for a moment, giving the Ludmillas plenty of time for one more portal.-

Ludmilla: Wait, what's that-

-This time, the portal doesn't just "open".-

-This time, it tears.-

-A huge Bisharp walks through. He looks around as the tear in the space-time fluctuates.-

Ludmilla: ... Rend.

-The Bisharp looks over at the taller of the two women.-

Rend: <... Commander.>

Ludmilla: I will admit, I was not expecting the honor.

Rend: <Zen hyu und Hy are een seemilar seetuations.>

Ludmilla: Are you the only one?

Rend: <HAH! No. Hy found Dimo vanderink about.>

-The Cacturne walks through, a little browbeat.-

Dimo: <Hy had to explain vhere Oggie and Maxim vent.>

Rend: <Pfeh.>

Ludmilla: Well, Rend. What do you say about killing a Missingno?

-Rend's face changes from the stern boredom it was to a devilish, toothy smile.-

Rend: <Hy vould say, "point me at zhem.">

-Ludmilla points at the shadow motes.-

Ludmilla: There are his minions.

Rend: <Hehehehehehe...>

-Rend steps over the cover.-

Rend: <Hehehehahahahaha...>

-He shoulders his way past people and Pokemon.-

Rend: <Hahahahahahahahaha...>

-He backhands a mote out of the way.-

Rend: <AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!>

-The Bisharp grabs another mote and rips it in half with his bare mitts.-

Rend: <AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!>

-A figure steps through the tear before it disappears. The figure, tall and wearing a coat, stays in the back.-

-Meanwhile, Dimo, Oggie, and Maxim finally reunite behind Rend.-

Dimo: <How do zhey taste?>

Maxim: <Bland.>

Oggie: <Dot's because dese are mass-produced! Hyu need ze artisan glitches for ze flavor!>

At an oncoming scurry of various glitch monsters, Lars and Orcus fire twin Flamethrowers, burning a fair bit of them right to a crisp.

Lars: <No seriously, where the fuck are we? And why are we here?>

Orcus: <Beats me, maybe the whatever [wants] us to be here> :3c

Sol: -Wrapping an obscura tendril around one of the monsters and chucking it away- Well, it seems we're stuck fighting this bullshit now.

Solana looks up at the Glitch Void.

Sol: I wonder what that... 'thing's'' deal is.

Curiously, Solana fires an Inky Blot towards the Void.

-Pitch uses Synthesis to get them to back off before attacking them with Knock Off-

Fortuna: -Fires a Moonblast into the rift as everyone else fights off the motes-

Phaz: While swinging the First Page Sword aimlessly Okay, sword stand. Don't you have a sword big enough to throw at the thing and block it? Also why are you selling swords in the middle of a fight like you don't care?

...On second thought don't tell. I'm pretty sure we don't have time for this.

Meanwhile in the background, Cynthia and compagny are spamming projectiles as ever.

And now the Seemingly Hopeless part begins!

-It's just not enough.-

-Although the motes are torn through nearly effortlessly, it's the Inky Blot and Moonblast at the rift itself that matter, and it's just not enough.-

▶▒ A▒: ]Now that was pathetic. No more games![

-It closes the rift, reforms into a blob of glitch, and drops to the ground, collecting the motes and looming over the crowd, and looking at Sol in particular.-

▶▒ A▒: ]...And I have just the way to end this.[

-It clusters together tight, then shoots upward into the sky as a massive [red column of light] that surrounds itself with an inky black fog. From the sky, a few shards of glass fall, hitting the ground next to the colossal glitch and shattering.-

-And it starts singing. A horrible, haunting, seemingly endless song.-

Vierr: ...We need to hit it with absolutely everything we've got. Now.

-He and Kaito send out every member of their teams they have on-hand. Immediately, they hear the song, and receive the same countdown as those who were out at the start.-

-Of course, those with Soundproof don't fall victim to the song's power...-

Mew!Blitz: <Right, Light based attacks...>

-Mew!Blitz pulls three pokeballs out and releases A Clefairy (again) a shiny Ditto and an Arcanine-

<Mondo, Moonblast, Rocket, copy him, Ammon, light them up!>

-Mondo does so as Rocket shifts into another Clefairy to mirror him and Ammon sends a Fire Blast at the horde before they're reabsorbed-

-Mew!Blitz himself starts to float up toward the rift to try and figure out how to force it shut. But the pillar and the Perish Song happen first-

-Stark and Tomahawk are re-released from their balls as well while Mondo and Rocket continue their barrage on the new target, Stark and Ammon charge into close range with an Iron Tail and Extremespeed, while Tomohawk flaps up an Air Slash and Blitz tries to do something with his unpracticed offensive Mew skillset that likely ends up being Psychic-

-He begins to draw in Aura from all around in an attempt to charge back up-

-Senshi does what he can, firing Moonblasts-

Lars: <Who cares about the song! That 80ft tower of eldrich horror is tryna kill us!>

Orcus fires another barrage of flames at the motes, while Lars fires a Gunk Shot at the glitch

(Belinda has no profane exclamations this time around. She simply goes white as a sheet.)

(Her mons panic, blasting the column of red light with everything they have in a desperate extinction burst. Vincent in particular looks utterly horrified, while Klaus still looks surprisingly composed given the situation.)

-Everyone tries one last desprate volley of attacks-

-he kicks up his feet on the stand and sits back-

-he beams-

Ever: Which is fortunate, because I'm sure otherwise I'd be panicking. But look at me now.

-he folds his arms behind his head and yawns as his Perish Count drops-

-The four Jaegers both clench their teeth against the song.-

Rend: <KILL IT! KILL IT NOW!>

-Rend's command, for the briefest of moments, fights against the song for all it's worth. The Boyz rush forward, trying their best to find an air pipe to crush.-

-The two Ludmillas clutch their heads. The song ripples and tears, shines and burns, splashes and crashes between their ears.-

-The figure in the cloak begins clenching and unclenching a fist under his cloak. Quiet. Patient.-

-Seething.-

-The song turns to chanting, frantic ranting. Enchanted with a panicked dance, the world spins to those within and all turn on and amongst themselves.-

-Omicron, in his confusion, sends a Shadow Ball at Gogie-

-He then Crunches Omicron-

-after the airship crashes, Mezzo looks up from her umbrella, then hears a horrible song-

Mezzo: Well.

Demyx: <Hey, after this, I don't want to hear any more complaints about my music being bad.>

-most of Forte's team has flattened their ears at the song, and Celeste in particular is covering hers up with her ribbons-

Celeste: <Make it stop...>

-Ren recalls Dirus after the Hydreigon passes out from exhaustion.-

Ren: Not good... No one able to battle... No combat options... No way to flee...

-And the Perish Song ability.-

Ren: And now no time...

-Ren grips his head and screams as the Shadow Panic rends the air.-

Ren: SOMEONE! HELP US!

-The Mask of Facades glows in Ren's pocket and suddenly Ren's head pounds as blue light surrounds him.-

-Above Ren appears a Human-like Delphox persona with a visor and plate made of immaculately carved and polished white ash and inlaid with polished brass, ivory, and copper. The fur looks like a western-style sorcerer's robes an is wearing a gracefully backwards-curving conical wizard's hat. In His hand, Merlin wields a long, thin mahogany rod with a octahedronal sapphire in the handle.-

-Merlin swings his rod and blasts emerald green Mystical Fire at the glitch.-

-Phosphora fumes, knowing she isn't going to be told what the heck Chromie is counting down.-
