-Pent... Seems to be getting nowhere on his attempts to walk closer to Cons so he decides that at this point he either needs to summon some of his mons or shut up and watch the tennis match unfolding around him-

-Well the problem seems to be that he can't let go of his sword to get his backpack off to go rummaging for the right pokeball. Like physically when he tries he can't. He mutters under his breath, chalks it up to Mean Look's effects and resumes his exploration of the twisting and folding space-

-The figure in grey keeps fiddling with their various devices rendered useless by the frozen connection to the Den back in Gaulthorn and occasionally lets out heavily frustrated noises-

GCF: Come on reconnect you hunk of near-military hardware... I'm a sitting duck out here and I'd rather not invoke Her to help me out...

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.

Neo-Flare Base(?)

Shaka(?) is attacked by Elysia, Fortuna and Gekkota, while Constantin(?) is attacked by Avada's Hex.

Constantin(?): -Shrieking- How DARE YOU! YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!

Constantin(?) howls as he fires off a barrage of Psycho Cuts from his claws at short range.

Shaka, after recovering from his surprise attack, is about to lash back. Then, through the corner of his eye, Shaka notices something glinting.

Shaka(?): <EVERYONE, GET OUT OF THE WAY!'>

Shaka used Shock Wave!

Shaka suddenly uses the electric waves emitting from his body to push everyone a safe distance away from him. After that, he chucks a weak Energy Ball at the oncoming Muddy. Not enough to hurt him despite the type advantage, but enough to push him off trajectory.

And then suddenly, there is a sickening crunch sound.

Shaka's still, eyes wide and posture wider, as a shining crack starts forming down his head to the tip of his toes.

And, as anticipated, the collapsed energy bullet explodes inside it's host.

ELIMINATED: SHAKA

Epitaph: Self-Sacrificing to a fault, even at the very end.

-"Sickening" is a very accurate, because Kaito in particular immediately looks rather ill.-

Vierr: ...That's going to make him mad.

Kaito: This wasn't going to be pretty anyway...

-Meanwhile, Avada is struck by some of the flurry of Psycho Cuts, but Elysia's Dark type leaves her unaffected. However, both of them are pushed back by the Shock Wave, just in time to see Shaka's demise.-

Avada: <You know, for some reason I can't help but not see any good reason to offer my condolences.>

Elysia: <Nasty way to go out, though.... oh well, death happens.>

-They all wait to see how Constantin reacts-

(The distortion of space was not kind to Simon or Dougal. They've been stranded in one particular corner of the base far from the main fight, one in which the architecture is best described as what would happen if a child's frantic scribbling were to take solid form. Needless to say, they are quite hopelessly lost.)

Simon: Arceus dammit, they've probably defeated that lunatic without me by now...

(Alex was a good deal luckier. When he rounds the corridor leading to the main fight, he's just in time to see Shaka's violent death. Eerily unperturbed as ever, he briefly jabs a finger in the direction of the now unprotected Constantin...)

-Let's just say the fight has not been easy on Team Umbra since we last left them-

-Most of them are sprawling in heaps around the diabolical MC Escher-esqe maze. Only Ammy is still fighting, and only managing to get weak hits in-

-Also, Nico got locked out of most of his powers by the Imprison. Ouch.-

-Suddenly, Robin opens his eyes at the beating of wings...-

Robin: Oh great deliver of death... Take me...

???: <You know, it's an honor to be reffered to like I'm a being as infamous as Yveltal, but now's not the time or place for that.>

Robin: -Opens his eyes wide- Sam?

Sam: <Yep! Heck of a time getting here with metaphysics messed up. By the way, I brought something.>

-Robin staggers to his feet to find Sam is clutching six belts with a few Pokeballs attached each-

Robin: Sam... You brought our Pokemon!

-He looks in the direction of Constantin, frowning-

Sam: <Well, I'd say don't bother and run away, but that sadly isn't an option right now. So I'd say fight smart and use your enviorent wisely! Like this is Jojo's Bizzare Adventure!>

Robin: But how do we go about that in a situation like this?

MC Escher Labyrinth

Mr. Bitey was knocked away by the attacks, though luckily he didn't take too much actual damage.

When the distortion hits, Daydre and Mr. Bitey are separated. Daydre ends up far away from the action... Meanwhile Mr. Bitey turns a corner and there's Constantin. Alana is sent to a random corner of the arena, looking thoroughly miffed.

Daydre: "Not this shit again... Where's Bitey?" She looks around, and when it's evident he's nowhere nearby she sends out Orthrus. The Houndoom takes a look around with an expression of sheer 'wtf' on his face.

Daydre: "... I'll explain later, let's go find Mr. Bitey. You remember what he smells like?."

Orthrus still looks very confused but nods and starts trying to track Mr. Bitey's scent.

Congratulations Mr. Bitey, you're just in time to see Shaka's(?) violent death. The Mawile looks a little sick at the sight, and hangs back for now.

Oh, things are just going to get nastier now.

As the dust settle from the explosion that took Shaka(?)'s life, Constantin just looks at that one spot in wide eyed, abject shock and horror. He's shaking, the start of tears pricking at the corner of his eyes. Completely oblivious to everything but the fact that his friend was just blasted to oblivion with his own shot.

The various attacks either hit him or hit around him, throwing up clouds of dust that obscure him from view.

Then, with a mind splitting screech, the remaining attacks and the dust are thrown off by a set of six powerful clawed arm constructs. Excess Aura from Constantin's scalp and body running off his head and back like a mane, his mouth getting construct fangs.

Constantin(?) has Turned Red.

Actually turned red. As in, it looks like his skin just melted off and his flesh is fusing with his crimson clothes.

Constantin mindlessly barrels forward in a mad rush with howls and screech of pain and delirium, with only one goal in mind.

To rip and maim whoever is unfortunate enough to end up in his path as brutally as possible.

-She attempts to Psyshock Constantin, hoping that with Shaka's death, the move lock effects will end.-

-Archimedes starts running at Constatin, hoping to punch him.-

The Imprision is, indeed, begun to break down after Shaka's demise. The debris fired from Argent's Psyshock, however, begin to stick and meld into Constantin(?)'s flesh as he charges forward, unperturbed.

Archimedes may notice that, as he draws closer, he begins to feel like his own skin and flesh is being seared. In fact, if it wasn't for Keys' Fairy Lock and the combined attack of everyone else pushing him back into place, he probably would have been minced meat by now from a VERY stupid, suicidal attack.

Constantin(?) shrieks as he pulls at the chains, they're wearing thin already.

Covering the nearby arena with energy, he emits and incredibly powerful pulse that is strong enough to flatten the twisted architecture of the base.
