-Crow then sends out Chirin-

Crow: "Chirin, Thunder!"

-Chirin calls down a bolt from the sky to try and strike the Honchkrow-

Citidark Isle HQ

Nathan and Sophia walked the corridors, seeing very few Peons on the way.

Nathan: "Why are evil facilities always so... artificial, metallic? almost cliche."

Suddenly a Peon trailed by a Growlithe appeared, and what appeared to be a pistol in his hands. He spotted Nathan and pointed the gun at him.

Cipher Peon: "Hey you! Stop right there!"

But faster than Nathan could respond, Sophia used Psychic to trip the Peon.

Nathan: "Holy shit, take cover!" Nathan ran with Sophia behind a corner, hearing the response shots impacting the wall straight after and making his pulse race.

Cipher Peon: "I've got an intruder here, requesting support!" He got up and ran away for help. Nate sighed from relief.

Nathan: "Oh my goodness, that was close. You react fast."

Sophia: <Battling does that.>

With that, the two practiced cautiousness and looked for J-Team members.

Citadark Isle, canyon

-Breeze is still Heal Pulsing Merle-

Muninn: <Get off me, you impertinent scum!>

Spathi: <We'll pass.>

Marmalade: <Your tone of voice is charming, though.>

Spathi: <You're one to talk.>

Marmalade: <I think so too.>

Muninn: <Be quiet! I've heard enough out of you pests!>

-Muninn's eyes flash, and the three dragons are thrown from him, though each manages to take a good chunk of Muninn with them. The Latios screeches, wheeling around to face Breeze and Merle, the former of whom seems exhausted from the healing-

Muninn: <Trying to revive your friend?> -laughs, a little insanely- <Don't you see how pointless it is? I'll just put you both down!>

-Muninn fires a Dragon Pulse at the two mons...just as Merle's eyes snap open-

Merle: <Time to go!>

-and the two vanish into a shadow as the blast hits-

Muninn: <Tricks and more tricks! THEY WON'T HELP YOU IN THE END, SCUM!>

-at which point another Snag Ball collides with him, and sucks him in-

-Every rushes forward- Really, I think that's all it takes.

-and scoops up the ball in his backpack, flinging it towards the canyon wall-

Martin was walking down the street, his mons following in a group. "Thirty!" He yelled out. "Thirty! Thirty! Thirty!"

A Peon, overhearing him, ran over.

"What the hell are you even saying?" He snapped.

"Thirty." Martin smiled.

"Yeah, but why?"

"Thirty."

He grimaced. "Look, wise guy, if you don't cut the crap, I'm gonna wipe the floor with you."

"Thirty!~"

"Alright! That's it!"

The Peon sent out a Charizard.

Martin smiled. "Fire-type? Poor choice. Rex, Marill; Water Gun. Wobbuffet, Espeon; Psybeam. Jumpluff; Stun Spore. Miltank; Rollout."

The Charizard didn't last ten seconds.

"Hey. Guess what?" Martin said, staring at the Peon.

Martin planted his foot against the Peon's chest, kicking him to the cold, hard pavement.

"Thirty-one."

"W-what?"

Martin continued down the street. "Thirty-one!" He yelled. "Thirty-one! Thirty-one!"

Sabullo: "..."

Sabullo: "Goodbye."

Vein gets knocked back towards Sabullo, who grabs both him and "Cidd".

<"Cidd": "ESCAPE ACTIVATED. TELEPORTING TO SAFE LOCATION.">

Ellen: Not if you take it person by person. Starting with the two I just mentioned.

-Kyrie throws her hands up-

Herbert: Bishop, Protect!

-Bishop shields himself and Herbert from the Heat Wave, whilst Falchion and Kerrigan are forced to endure the attack, the former doing so only barely.-

Falchion: <Urgh, why am I always the one who has to take these attacks...?>

-Herbert eyes the Peons derisively.-

Herbert: ...Very well then. Just remember, you chose to bring this upon yourselves.

-He charges at them alongside his team, slashing furiously with Tsumugari. This time, he is most definitely not using the flat side of his sword. Falchion swipes at another Peon with a Night Slash whilst Kerrigan targets the Honchkrow with a Shadow Blitz.-

Forecaster: -Looking around- <That must be Lev's perch.>

Mortimer watches the camera feeds from his personal system he had Oliver set up.

Mortimer: "..."

He sighs.

Mortimer: "It seems that this J-Team shall be successful. A shame. We shall have to plan around them, in the future."

He takes out his cellphone and calls Kyrie.

Verax: "I.... would they really give me a chance...? I mean... the chance to start over... maybe fight and stop the things that happened to me from happening to other people... I... I would do that but... Um..."

-Looks down- "I don't know... I don't have a way off this island anyways... actually... I might but... well where are they? Do you know...? I might as well try approaching them now..."

-Gamma fires a Tri Attack at a Peon to help make the point.-

Mortimer: "Miss Valkyrie."

He walks over to the balcony.

Gateon Port, main street

-a Kabutops, Azumarill, and Poliwrath all use Brick Break to break through the wall at different points-

Trixie: <... Sweet! I never get to use this!>

-her eyes glow blue and a wave of Psychic energy pounds into the three mons. The Poliwrath struggles to remain conscious when Beedrill hits it with a Thunderbolt and it collapses. Lockspur hits the Kabutops with Energy Ball and knocked out, but the Azumarill is left clinging to consciousness. It fires a Scald in Beedrill's direction, who beeps in alarm and darts out the way, leaving Crewe to take the hit-

Agh!

-Beedrill beeps loudly and hurries over-

Trixie: <Whoa, you okay?>

Ngh—f-fine. Just keep—fighting.

Trixie: <... If you say so.>

-she fires a few more Surfs in the direction of the Cipher group. Lockspur finishes laying down Toxic Spikes and covers them in normal layers Spikes. Beedrill whirrs at Crewe in concern, then starts repairing the wall again-

-Clockwise drops down behind Crewe, several more Pokeballs and Pokeball belts in his talons. He pants slightly as he Roosts for a moment, giving Crewe a long look, then takes off again and goes back to attacking the Peons from the air and using Thief on their Pokeballs-

-Kyrie tilts her head-

Mortimer? What is it? And I don't remember giving you my number.

Mortimer: "It matters not where I found your number. The important thing is, Cipher is falling. They will not win the day. If you wish to escape, now would be the time to retreat."

Ellen: They're still in Phenac. Eskay... is kind of reluctant to help, either here or at Gateon.

The Honchkrow is hit by the attacks and faints, upon seeing Herbert going crazy with his sword and Gamma's Tri-Attack, that's when the peons start panicking, the ones that were attacked at least managed to avoid the attacks used.

"He's serious! Let's get out of here!" said one of them

The peons then retreat as fast as possible, Duke then puts his armband back on

"Good thinking." said Lyuri, with a smile

"You really don't know how to handle that sword do you? At least it worked quite nicely for intimidation." said Duke, with a playful smile despite himself.

-Kyrie hesitates for a moment-

But...are you sure there's nothing to be done?

- Follows behind Tagg, HotStuff and Velvet staying close by and keeping an eye open for any potential threats -

Should I send out the rest of my team now?

Meanwhile, in Gateon Port

Lillith: (has an Ultra Ball prepared in her Snag Machine, is waiting to get a clear shot at a Shadow Lampent currently being fought by Veronica)

Alastor: (uses Hypnosis to put the Lampent to sleep) <Now's your chance!>

Lillith: Okay, here goes!

- Lillith throws the Snag Ball, and successfully snags the Lampent -

Lillith: Thanks for helping me out! I'll send it to a Purification Chamber later.

Random Peon: (watching his Lampent get snagged) Hmm... Maybe it's for the best. For some reason, I always felt really tired whenever I used that thing... (tries to run off, only for Sierra's Vaporeon to trip him up disguised as a puddle of water in his path)

Sierra's Vaporeon: (snickers as he returns to his normal shape, then walks back to Sierra)

Gateon - By a Barricade, and a Rapidly Approaching APC

<Iggy: "You're kidding me."> O_O;

-The sound of the gunshot can be heard as an Aerodactyl flinches from a bullet whizzing by-

<Zoltan: "SCRAW! What kind of attack was-?!"> O.O;

"Take cover!"

-And hastily dives out of the way of the APC as a certain Blastoise hastily retracts-

-Which clips the Blastoise's shell and sends it careening into a wall, disorienting its owner-

<Iggy: "Oh, so this is what it feels like to be a Green Shell."> @_@

-Meanwhile-

-A certain nettle lizard hastily ducks to avoid a flamethrower-

<Teala: "Hey! Fire is a pittance to dragons like us, you kn-">

-Just in time to see a beam moving towards...-

<Teala: "Wait, Andre! Look out!">

<Andre: "Hu-?">

-And is struck in the head by the flash cannon. Hard. Skidding to a dazed stop not too far away-

<Andre: "Urgh... W-What was-?!">
