She slowly turns to leave, looking over her shoulder one last time, before exiting the room.

Kage remains, and steps over to Duolis.

He lightly pats her on the back, then follows his master out.

-Alice raises an eyebrow, but does not look up from her meal.-

Alice: I see. Lucius has something of an affinity with the Dark-type, since most of his Pokemon possess the type, but bringing up the subject of Darkrai with him is a poor idea. Irrelevant, perhaps, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Illusio - Around 600 years ago

-Lucanus gives Aiura a strange look.-

-He then notices Herbert and company heading through the doors and approaching him.-

Lucanus: Oh, hello again, white Arcanine and companions! Is there something I can do for-

-A certain massive black form is hooked up to some jerry-rigged wires leading to different transformers, in effect transforming the black deity into a localized power plant-

<Simo: "... That was why I was hesitant to bring us here...">

<Familiar!Ledian: "Wait a minute... He's the reason why we have any electricity at all?"> O_o;

<Simo: "... About half of it, yes.">

<Rhyhorn: "Well come on, let's go!">

-And dashes towards the black figure-

<Druddigon: "W-Wait! M-Maybe we shouldn't-!">

<Substation!Emolga: "Hey! Hey! We're busy here!">

<Substation DST!Golett: "Yeah! Don't disrupt Lord Zekrom while he's busy with-!">

-Turning to face the approaching party-

<Zekrom: "Oh? Did you all need something?">

<Druddigon: "M-Meep!">

-And shies away, holding its head low and avoiding eye contact, which makes the black creature somewhat quizzical-

<Druddigon: "I-I didn't m-mean to trouble you!">

<Zekrom: "... Well, I assumed that since you came here, and came towards me... That you'd have somet-">

-And notices the message held by the Beeheeyem-

<Zekrom: "... Oh? Is that about our pizza situation by any chance?">

-while Isolde makes up with the armorer's Skitty and Kori goes off to find some Pokemon, Amhlaidh hunts down the captain of the guard, finding him pacing in the practice yard-

Amhlaidh: Captain Keiji!

-the man stops and turns to him, hurrying over-

Keiji: Amhlaidh. Tell me you have answers. Is the Ghost Lord really dead?

Amhlaidh: Yes. Our lord is dead. Lady Duolis is leaving the region.

Keiji: Good luck to her. So then... are you in charge? The new Warlord of Spectra?

Amhlaidh: -shakes his head- I'm going home.

Keiji: But... Lord Umbra never had any children. At least, none that we know of. Will Spectra go leaderless?

Amhlaidh: No. Spectra needs a leader now more than ever, to rebuild and protect its people from the same enemies that killed its last leader. Lord Umbra never named a successor. I suppose he never though he would need one. Lady Duolis is leaving, and is far too distressed to worry about the fate of this country. I need to go home. That leaves you, Keiji, to take up the mantle as Warlord of Spectra.

-Keiji hesitates, looking like he wants to say something-

Amhlaidh: I can think of no one better. You are a competent warrior, and you lead your men well. And perhaps you have the compassion the country needs. If you can name a better successor, do so, but otherwise, step up and take the throne.

-he remains quiet for a few more moments, then nods-

Keiji: All right, Amhlaidh, I'll do it. For now. Until someone better comes along.

Amhlaidh: Be prepared for a wait, then, old friend.

-he clasps his hand-

Amhlaidh: Good bye.

Keiji: Good bye. I don't suppose I'll ever see you again.

Amhlaidh: I don't suppose you will, either. Lead well.

-he bows, then turns and leaves the man standing there, going to his room and snatching a piece of paper, taking several minutes to write a letter. By the time he's done, Kori and Isolde have made their way back to him. He gathers his things, heads to the stable, and saddles his Rapidash, saying goodbye to the stable staff, then leaves the letter with a messenger boy to be delivered and rides for Dragnor-

-a letter will arrive here for Lucanus at a convenient time-

Alice: Not Darkrai specifically, but his powers. Remember when I said that I was fortunate enough not to suffer from anything as vivid as nightmares when suffering from sleeping problems? Lucius is not so lucky. But I doubt he would appreciate me going on about the subject.

-She finishes off the last of her steak, then attempts to flag down a nearby waitress.-

-He raises an eyebrow at Aiura, but then goes back to focusing on Lucanus.-

Herbert: You know perfectly damn well what I'm talking about! Edge! Celzvet! Whatever you want to call him! He tried to ruin my life and you're the one responsible!

Lucanus: ...Wait, now I am even more confused. Why would Celzvet be interested in pursuing you? As far as I know his vendetta only concerns me and my own flesh and blood.

Herbert: ...Oh dear Arceus, don't tell me you're even thicker than I thought. Did the uncanny resemblance not clue you in, or are you blind as well as short-sighted?

Lucanus: ...You've lost me, I'm afraid.

-Herbert sighs.-

Herbert: Ask Aiura. She'll explain just what our "deal" is.
