- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Yeah, Ben was dead and Mephisto was gauding him, then Abigail, the child Ben was trying to save, ascended to godhood or something and revived him, only as Lady Death had said in earlier issues, if Ben were killed and revived one last time, his soul would shatter. Abigail doesn't know this apparently. Afterwards Ben punches out a robot double of Mysterio's daughter and feels good about it, and deduces he must now be evil. He terrorises Kaine and tells him to get out of Vegas or he'll kill him, then closes out the book cackling wickedly on a rooftop
I think Peter David's having one of those really bad days at the office again.

Well, we can't say that PAD didn't tell us this was going to happen. (But why would punching a robot double of Mephisto make him feel evil?)

And yes, Linkara has to review this, I know he swore off all post-OMD Spider-Man comics, but I heard he was planning to review Clone Conspiracy in the future and this would be a fitting extra to go along with that.
Although, to be fair, I actually wasn't far off: Mephisto's daughter is named Mephista, while Mysterio's daughter goes by Mysteria. Which is kind of hilarious.
Although, again, if Mysteria is a villain, why did feeling good for punching her make you evil?

Still seems kind of weak, in terms of "evilness." I do wonder if PAD will be writing a new book — he seems to average about one book for every Marvel "era." He went from X-Factor to Spider-Man 2099 to Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider, but I don't think I saw his name on any future project.
After discovering the existence of a Golden Age heroine named the Spider Queen who essentially used the exact same kinds of webshooters Peter eventually made, I wondered if she ever, like, sued him or something XD She only appeared in 3 issues but was revived in an ish of The Invaders and Avengers 1959.

Also, the symbiote is brain dead, Eddie's head is so fucked that he doesn't even remember that Flash is dead, and his dad apparently had another son.

Successfully fending off Knull the Symbiote God left Eddie catatonic and the symbiote feral. It spent three weeks ferrying Eddie around, evading the Maker and his new group, which eventually captured them on the doorstep of Eddie's dad, who it turns out had another, better son. Since the symbiote only acts on instinct now, it keeps suppressing memories that it senses are "harmful" to its host, so Eddie doesn't remember that Flash is dead or that the Maker has spent the last two weeks going in circles trying to interrogate him because the sample of Knull that he recovered went missing and he's convinced that Eddie or the symbiote had something to do with it.

The what is Peter Parker became the punisher had a pretty good ending for what is Peter kills the burgaler who killed uncle Ben when he grabbed a gun with his webs he made for showmanship and then he was photographed doing so and was made the spider punisher. He kept fighting his normal villains but not killing them till the sinister six kidnapped his family. He fought Norman but couldn't kill him when he saw it was Harry's dad and then he lost his memory. Like 616 he regained it but Peter shot him multiple times in the same spot to Crack the armor and he saved Gwen and fave up being spider punisher. But since Peter was only focused on the big villains the mob still wiped out the castle family Sana frank who found Peter's costume in the trash
Venom Annual #1 will reveal what Felicia got up to after she was beaten up by Eddie in the 1990s.

There are actually three stories in the annual, I think this is the one written by David Micheline.
Kind of loses all impact given Felicia can't recall the specifics of what the "bombshell info" was on her ex, as she no longer knows who Peter is and the Spider-Marriage never happened in the timeline. Also she has no problem spilling to some of Spider-Man's enemies he likes to hang out in a quiet part of Forest Hills

Regarding that page that was linked to with Eddie talking to the Maker, anyone else notice that Eddie speaks in all caps, while the Maker speaks in normal case, becsuse that’s how the lettering was in the Ultimate Universe?
