Was there a story reason why those last two were Zombies and not Winged Beasts?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThey're two of Misawa's Youkai-type monsters in the manga, which were all changed to Zombie-type in the TCG.
Hearing "Youkai-type" made me think of Spirit Type monsters. Man, remember those?
Now we're only 3 cards away from having all of manga Misawa's monsters on the OCG.

Konami keeps track of unreleased cards much better than I originally thought they did. The Armed Dragon variant in particular was a throwaway normal monster from the second chapter, fifteen years ago now...
Well Triamid is no longer in the "no support gang" at least
Probably because the Pyramid is a giant mech/super computer?
Alien support in the year of our Lord 2021

I remember wanting to make an Alien deck at one point. An Alien monster was one of the first Yugioh cards I ever owned.
I know the feeling. I started playing when Magician's Force got released and my first deck was Gravekeepers then I quit during CED and Yaya's reign of terror but I kept playing the videogames every now and then. Was there when I found about aliens, falling in love with their aesthetics and mechanics and I did return to the game just to build an Alien deck.
hey that alien support looks pretty good
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Alien was always one of those archtypes that were like, two or three cards away from being legitimately scary
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI keep hoping for more Melffy support in the upcoming sets, but that's more to collect the other adorable animals expressed in the xyz cards (the like lama). Looks like that will be a ways off, if ever.
...well, that and it's the only deck capable of consistently using Alpha, The Master of Beasts to the fullest. That's another card waiting for the right deck to go crazy with.
Not that I can compete anyway. Even if locals was open, the deck staples are just too expensive.
Does anyone know the name and/or origin of that miniature planet(?) with a creepy photorealistic human face that appears in Rata's videos? I first saw it in the holiday special from a couple years back, where Ojama Lime finds it in Purple Poison Magician's creepy closet of anime girl figurines and it teaches him the True Meaning of Christmas, but it's showed up elsewhere as well and I don't know if that was its first appearance.
Plot twist: its the true form of Nibiru
Looking back on it (I forgot it appears in all the "pathetic aesthetic" thumbnails). It looks like it is a Photoshopped grapefruit or melon of some sort.

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Thank you!
.....considering Wave Crest Madoor appearing in Sevens and this card announced for Dawn of Majesty, it seems Konami has some interest in Madoor right now

Yet more manga cards renamed when they are printed.
(First one was Powered Caterpillar (JP) / Caterpillar Tank (Eng) from YGO R manga, btw. The name becomes Powered Crawler when printed.)
