Most of Red Eyes could use a retrain. The issue is lack of direction. I think I like the idea of attack point boosting mixed with strong recovery to reflect Joey more. It honestly feels like whoever designed Red Eyes felt like since it was Joey’s card it should be as inferior as possible.
Could you post some of the cards you use and the strategy you employ?

A Pet Dragon retrain should gain effects based on the number of Harpies you control. Also an inherent Special Summoning condition.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Rata makes Support Report #2 covering Madolche, Neos, Nordics, Lunalight (I'm sure that was jumping the gun) and Aliens.

Didn't know OCG Neos can Rainbow Turbo faster than ever before. Jaden's and Jesse's bromance is strong.
Where there's life, there's hope.So Rainbow Neos Turbo is good now, right? Neos Fusion is searchable and works on its own.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Not just good, it's also splashable. I've been surprised by a sudden rainbow neos popping up in unrelated decks...
Also hello, rest of Vrains 2 was released.
Traptricks, fire fists, scraps, raidraptors, darklords, and psyframe all got new links.
Scrap? Surprised they remembered it exists, though it was a dark horse deck during mid-Synchro.
Where there's life, there's hope.Condemned Maiden's become a Darklord... does that count as a happy ending for her?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."x2 Wasn't Scrap Dragon a really good card back in the day?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Yes, but it was more like a generic Synchro. I remember it was used in Machina Gadget to blow up Geartown.

Where there's life, there's hope.>Buys 3 packs of Soul Fusion while picking up a Structure Deck reprint
>Gets Cyberse Clock Dragon in the second pack
Okay then.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?In which Alexa becomes an anime protag.
Where there's life, there's hope.My thunder deck does a lot of things, and has a lot of stun. few things are more fun than Heart of the Cards drawing Denko Sekka when my opponent has set 4 back row.
Any suggestions on cards that can mess with my opponent's monster effects?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWe got #67 for Dice effects and Abyss Actor Fiend Comedian, Artifact Durandal and #75 can chnage changemonster effects to different effects.
3 of the mentioned cards are Xyz monsters however.

I recall a new Thunder monster, and if you want to dick with special summons, I'd recommend Zap Mustung.
Most players seem to quit out entirely after he hits the field.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.Frayleigh, which I saw (posted here), and it's nice, it's just it has to have been special summoned first to get its good effect, and my deck doesn't have a lot of fast options to special summon it. My deck barely ever uses normal summons, though, so I can use its second effect easily.
Zap Mustung sounds and looks cool, but it's just too obnoxious to even use.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIs your deck running Batteryman Solar? It's not effect negation, but it's great in general for setting up Links.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? No, though I know I should make a side deck space for it. I'm just too contrarian. Also, I don't really have a lot of problem with links. Especially with Photon Sanctuary existing.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIs combining beatdown and burn tactics a viable option?
Edited by windleopard on Nov 23rd 2018 at 9:07:10 AM
that's two tactics that have very little to do in common so I don't really see how ? If you want to go for attack boosting, you have so many otpions available to go for 8K damage the burn is kinda superfluous, and the attack boosting doesn't advance your burn plays either, and with the options we have now (cough firewall dragon cough) you can realitically burn for 8K turn 1 with the right setup, so might as well not clog your deck with atk manipulation.

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."I guess an extra deck burn option isn't bad in case your beatdown strategy inflicts 7000 damage.
Where there's life, there's hope.well cowboy for game used to be meta so that's not exactly wrong, but it was at a time where simply hitting for 8K wasn't that easy.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."That wouldneed Two cowboys or one Dreadnoid and one Gustav to pull off.
The only way I cna see a Burn+Beatdown deck working is if the monsters gets ATK based around the LP gap (Ravenous Tarantula, Mars, Neo-Parshaft, etc) or the activation of burn effects (Holly Angel I think is the only one that does this)
What are good ideas for decks revolving around attack point manipulation?
I'm still stubbornly working on a Mai/Joey hybrid deck. It may not be good, but it almost is ready. It's just....
Harpie's Pet Dragon is just so fucking bad. Can it please get a retrain? that makes it worth running? Like if it summoned itself if you controlled a Harpie Lady, or negated opponent's monster effects, or something worth running? Preferably not a destruction effect - my deck has enough of those as is. Probably too many for its own good.
