Hint: Enough of Song 1, and you get Song 2.

Is the second song Seventh Moon? The implicitly part of the hint makes me think that it is.
And just to make sure:
Is song 1 Triangler?
Or Lion? (for song 1 this time, of course)

Song 1 goes to flygon: Macross Frontier OP 2 - Lion, by May N and Megumi Nakajima.
Play continues: Somebody still needs to guess Song 2.

So are you really trying to have two rounds in a row without someone passing their round to you? There is something wrong with that.
I think he's just didn't think that way. And since song 1 is related to song 2....
I'm just saying that it should be up to Flygon to decide wheter he would like to have the next round, or pass it to Pyrite, or pass it to someone else, after all he already won.

But he specifically states that there are two songs. Or did you assume that his turn ends after song one is guessed correctly? We need to solve both.
So enough of Lion and you get... what? Lion King? Voltron? Uhh.. we need more Lion related materials...

Rounds 209 and 2010 were like this, however after Dorkus got the first song he passed the round to Pokenatic and so the round continued. And all the other times we have used multiple songs, the round is over when someone gets one song.

Well, he did say:
Okay, my fault. I was trying to do something like Pokenatic's double round but missed the part about passing the song. I did specify that there were two songs and two rounds (as numbering and rules suggested) - since there was no objection initially, I didn't think that you all had an issue with the variant rules.
In view of your objection, I suggest the following compromise:
edited 1st Aug '11 11:26:20 PM by Pyrite
I say wait for Flygon to decide, if he wants to give you the round(or if it takes too long for him to show up) we continue with it.
I just want to clarify that I don't have anything against you man, and your idea was good, but the thing is that the objective of the game is to find out what song someone else is thinking of, and the reward for that is to host the next round, but I think that is unfair if you are not even given the chance to decide whether you want that reward or not.
EDIT for ninja: I thought that you were doing that becuase you were unsure which round number it was. To be honest, if I had gotten only one song I would have passed the round to you, and I'm pretty sure flygon can do the same thing, but I think is a matter of principles, that he should at least get to decide that.

I thought the reward was being credited with the win in the opening post? Anyway, I've probably stepped on everybody's toes since I got here, so apologies if I have offended.
Feel free to continue guessing the other song, I guess, since flygon usually doesn't come on until the evening (by my frame of reference, which is GMT +8), which might be a while. In the meantime, I'll try to modify the suggested compromise so we can carry on with a minimum of fuss.
EDIT: See above for proposed compromise. It's not ideal, but it's the best I can do. (The original intent was to have a tiebreaker with A Certain Overused Running Gag as the solution, but that would just be rubbing it in.)

OK. I have seen the compromise deal. I would personally want to keep a hold of my round.
I will guess on the second song AND start my round at the same time.
Is the second song Moment?
And now to start my round.
Hint: You should love a certain brand of fruit juice.
Oh, and the round is being played with the usual minimum variant rules (no questions relating to airing dates or episode counts, or season length/number of seasons.)

Right, let's finish the job then.
The 2nd song is not Moment, Believe or Realize.
EDIT: Okay, here goes.
Is it Kimi + Boku = Love?
If not, is the anime Kimagure Orange Road?
If not, is the anime Code Geass?

No, no and no.
As for yours:
Is the song Invoke?
Pride? I think it will be this one, because the words "lion" and "pride" are connected. A pride is a group of lions
edited 2nd Aug '11 3:56:03 AM by flygon250
Correct, flygon. It is, indeed, Pride from Gundam SEED Destiny, and your reasoning is correct. You have proven yourself worthy.
(Uh, so does that mean you get to start the next two rounds?)

I will take another round if the person who wins my round passes their go.
Is it Love Tropicana? Love Tropicana Deluxe? Love Tropicana Final?
Incidentally, I just learnt that there's a juice brand called "Boku". Hence the guess of Kimi (you) + Boku = Love? from Lovely Complex ("Stop Complicating Things.").
edited 2nd Aug '11 4:34:26 AM by Pyrite
Yes, it's Love Tropicana. There's no Hare+Guu videos on Youtube, though (in the UK, at least), so you are going to have to make do with the full song:
Your turn, unless you want to pass it, of course.
Oh, and I didn't know about the Lovely Complex thing. I haven't watched that anime yet.
Now what? You guys played the game between yourselves... And what a high level, I can't even get the hints.
Come on. I didn't think my hint was that hard this time around. The hint was You should love a certain brand of fruit juice. Tropicana is a brand of fruit juice, and Love Tropicana is the name of the song. I don't see anything difficult about that. That seems fairly simple to me, at least if you know about the Tropicana brand ayway.
I'm passing back to flygon, as per the arrangement. I really want to put this episode behind me.
@djmaca: You think this is bad? I just went on an Archive Binge of this thread and DAMN, some of those early ones were hard.

Hint: Cats can apparently do this nine (or eight) times.
We are using the same rules as we used in the previous round

does it have something to do with dying? Not particularly.
is the anime an OP? No
is it God Knows? But of course! not.
