Well.
That looks pretty neat. But it needs an internet connection so uh, I'll see you guys in some other threat.
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally! No PC version? Welp, nice to hear that Bungie still hasn't even started making any games since Halo 2. /Glorious PC Gaming Master Race
Bungie didn't make either Halo game on PC. The first was Gearbox.
Jonah FalconIt just seems odd to not have a online FPS on the PC as well.
Could be that market is saturated. Destiny is a $59.99 (preorders on Amazon), so even though it's subscription free, it wouldn't be able to compete on PC with Planet Side 2.

Jonah FalconApparently to explain the lack of PC port, nobody uses keyboard and mouse for their FPSes anymore...

EIGHT GLORIOUS SIDESYou'd be surprised how many gamers never played shooters with a mouse/keyboard.
The thing is, mainstream (that is, non-casual, non-MMO) PC game sales are dwarfed by console. It's a simple fact.
Jonah FalconSo, what you're saying is that most gamers have never played a true shooter, just shoddy knockoffs.
But seriously, every single time I have tried to play an FPS on a console, it felt clunky, inaccurate, and I just spent the whole time wishing I was playing it with a mouse and keyboard.
Bungie doesn't give a shit about PC, news at 11. Especially considering with them going with Activision...
Not like I give a shit about them anyway...

Give me cute or give me...something?Wow, that may be the dumbest shit I've read in a while.
I officially give zero shits about this game now.

Wait a second. This is an out-of-context quote. I can't honestly believe someone would say something this stupid without some proper context surrounding the discussion.
Oh wait, I see the preview article thing, and so far it Makes Just as Much Sense in Context.

That's because consoles are the platform that still forces players to pay for most of their games, whether to a legitimate source or a bootlegger.
... Oh, wow. This is so, so stupid. Excuse me while I bang my head against a wall.
You're surprised bungie, AKA, the reason the xbox sold, isn't making a PC port? really?
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Well, considering that they originally made a name for themselves as Mac game developers, YES. Nice to see that they're forgotten their roots.
They could've just not given a reason, I don't think anyone would've cared if they just didn't answer. Or said it wasn't in the budget, or that they were focusing on console hardware to maximize what they can get out of them. I don't think anyone would've really cared if they hadn't answered at all honestly.

Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!Basically, Bungie gave the worst answer they could have.
I love how they've basically killed any chance of their game NOT getting shat on by sites like Something Awful, Neogaf, 4chan, etc. this early in development. I mean, they could've come back from the always-online and "It's a FPS version of World Of Warcraft!" marketing, but saying things like that is just god awfully dumb from a marketing standpoint.
EIGHT GLORIOUS SIDES
I can't even begin to fathom the amount of time I've spent playing halo. It must literally be in the thousands of hours at this point. I don't think I ever got through the library...
five minutes to trailer btw. link
MM Oesque FPS with a ten year plan and probably RPG elements. FAQ link
