Bungie didn't make either Halo game on PC. The first was Gearbox.

It came to PC so it existed.

It just seems odd to not have a online FPS on the PC as well.

Could be that market is saturated. Destiny is a $59.99 (preorders on Amazon), so even though it's subscription free, it wouldn't be able to compete on PC with Planet Side 2.

You'd be surprised how many gamers never played shooters with a mouse/keyboard.

The thing is, mainstream (that is, non-casual, non-MMO) PC game sales are dwarfed by console. It's a simple fact.

So, what you're saying is that most gamers have never played a true shooter, just shoddy knockoffs.

But seriously, every single time I have tried to play an FPS on a console, it felt clunky, inaccurate, and I just spent the whole time wishing I was playing it with a mouse and keyboard.

Bungie doesn't give a shit about PC, news at 11. Especially considering with them going with Activision...

They could've just not given a reason, I don't think anyone would've cared if they just didn't answer. Or said it wasn't in the budget, or that they were focusing on console hardware to maximize what they can get out of them. I don't think anyone would've really cared if they hadn't answered at all honestly.

Basically, Bungie gave the worst answer they could have.

I love how they've basically killed any chance of their game NOT getting shat on by sites like Something Awful, Neogaf, 4chan, etc. this early in development. I mean, they could've come back from the always-online and "It's a FPS version of World Of Warcraft!" marketing, but saying things like that is just god awfully dumb from a marketing standpoint.
